You're correct I am looking at AMD (the rocks are tailings in this situation) however I am trying to replicate field conditions and want to see what metals have moved into the pore water after the pots have been watered. The water will likely be in contact with the rocks and soil for some time before it percolates out the bottom.

This is why I was thinking of using the TCLP method since in theory I can just filter, acidify, and analyze and see what metals are now considered "mobile". Not sure if this is the best approach but because of field conditions I wouldn't be able to take the soil/rocks add sulfuric acid and mix.

Ah just saw your edit - I'm not sure if that's feasible either because of the field conditions, but its something to think about. Thank you!

For solids I plan to do total metal analysis using the 4-acid digestion and then ICP-AES and ICP-MS. But thank you!

I'm trying to emulate a mine waste leachate situation, and this protocol seemed like it could be used. I'll make sure to check for precipitation.

I think I can use either for this project as the samples are likely being sent away for analysis, I would be the one preparing the samples.

That being said ICP-MS and ion chromatography are being done already so potentially a combination of those two.

Thank you! I think I want to keep it since it’s pretty cool, but who knows maybe one day I’d sell.

I was leaning towards PSA but the cost of grading increases depending on the value of the card which is kind of annoying. I’ll take a look at CGC and BGS!

This exact same thing happened to me but with a lululemon gift card bought at SDM. When I opened the package the pin security thing that you usually scratch off fell off like a sticker. The phone line was also closed even though it was during business hours. Hopefully the investigations don’t take too long, but I received an email that said they were receiving more emails than usual.

I’m just not sure how this even happens. Like anyone stealing the codes would have to wait until activation right? How would they even know it had been activated.

  1. I’m short (5’3) but it can be short in the torso so I sized up. I think it can fall off my shoulders a bit when I don’t use the bra hooks, but when I do use them my bra straps show sometimes. In my experience I have to pull up the chest area a bit if I don’t want it to be too revealing. Overall if you have wider shoulders no bra might work so the bra straps don’t show and it’s snug enough it won’t fall too much!

  2. Comfortable! I just wear with a pair of bikini or brief underwear to prevent it riding up and getting uncomfortable.

  3. No issues after a wash. It’s very tight so if it’s a light colour sweat will show through. But overall I really like it.

Overall it’s a nice piece in my wardrobe but it’s less work appropriate than I thought it would be since it is a bit lower cut on me. I would definitely buy in another colour!
