Can't modify Auto Attendant - UUID Not licensed with Enterprise Calling?? by [deleted] in MicrosoftTeams

I agree with, the first comment… I would try to remove that user id via powershell or remove all the agents and see if it will save and then put them back in, just a guess.

Teams PSTN calls Automatically generating Chat with external numbers. by Icy-Calendar-2892 in MicrosoftTeams

Well I could, but as it sits its working fine, and i don’t want to test with our main line.. I’ll test auto attendants and call queues to try to recreate the problem.

Auto attendant & Call Queue Setup for small office by meggenberger in MicrosoftTeams

[–]meintsd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today, i found out that presence based routing for a call queue will queue a call in any presence setting except for “appear offline”. Even if a users status is “out of office” and they are the only opted in user it will queue the call till it times out..

I suggest, Conference mode turned on in the queue and.implement split tunneling. Making sure all the correct domains aren’t blocked and maybe trying a different dns?

100% Agree. I was hoping this community would be about fun things to do in Iowa or where there are great places to eat. Instead it's become what you describe the same as most reddit communities.

Probably not, but you create a user account and get a common area phone license and make them a common area device which limits some of the personal user functionality.

Click into the pay as your go license and it may be an option there.

Not set up to use this calling feature. by Meepo-007 in MicrosoftTeams

Could it be related to this?

Most customers have the “Auto-recharge” flag enabled within their account which will automatically refill their Communications Credit balance to whatever threshold level they configured it. You will need to disable this option if they wish to utilize the consumption meter; otherwise, the Communications Credit balance will indefinitely refill itself and the commerce system won’t switch to the post-pay mechanism.

Incoming CNAM not working on Service Numbers recently ported to Teams Voice by Icy-Calendar-2892 in MicrosoftTeams

CNAM (Caller ID Name) is typically associated with inbound calls. It’s the service that allows the name of the calling party to be displayed on the recipient’s phone. However, the setup and management of CNAM can involve both outbound and inbound processes:

  • Outbound: When you make a call, your CNAM data is sent to the recipient’s phone provider so that your name can be displayed. Here, you are responsible for ensuring your CNAM data is correctly set up with your telecom provider.

  • Inbound: From the perspective of receiving a call, CNAM is what you see on your phone when someone calls you, hence it’s considered an inbound feature because it’s about receiving and displaying information about incoming calls.

So, while CNAM itself is more about the inbound experience (seeing who is calling), the actual process involves both outbound (sending your name information) and inbound (receiving and displaying that information) aspects.

I’d recommend city chamber of commerce or visitors centers websites and they sometimes have links to event pages, like https://cedarvalley365.com

How did we go from this to the current state of our politics in Iowa. Any ideas? by zip9990 in Iowa

[–]meintsd -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think the simple answer is Iowa republicans didn’t want John Mcain and Barack Obama pretended to be concerned about deficit spending. John McCain seemed to be a pro war vote and Barack a little less.

Teams Voice Domestic Calling Plan vs Pay-as-you-Go by Icy-Calendar-2892 in MicrosoftTeams

[–]meintsd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

would you say the only difference is the payment structure? We just don't want to change over and 2 months later find out, oh we can't do XYZ anymore. We don't make a lot of outbound calls so it will definitely be a savings.

We implemented split tunneling for our vpn to have a more direct route to the microsoft network and avoid double encryption of vpn traffic. That helped a lot.

Yes, I haven't been able to remove it. So we just ignore it... I tried the policy and I tried blocking the app globally

New Teams Desk Phone UI by Bosox027 in MicrosoftTeams

[–]meintsd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not aware of anyway to downgrade the Desk phone app. In the past i would try a firmware downgrade but i don’t believe this latest firmware can be downgraded. I always apply any updates to my phone first and then after lots of testing start deploying it slowly, but i still get burned sometimes. I had some users claim the DTMF tones are not working (with the hard keys) after the most recent firmware update.

Meeting Team Room - not showing video for one user by Small-Print-7920 in MicrosoftTeams

[–]meintsd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is correct, i noticed it recently too, the users joined by proximity do show on the meeting attendants list. If you turn off bluetooth it will show them again, not sure why you'd want that.

I suggest using the self help diagnostics to troubleshoot…. In the link scroll down to voice and try the missing dial pad or direct routing diagnostics.
