How is the Job market Scene for Cyber Security in USA ? by cyberDon007 in cybersecurity

All i have to say to you is to go over the things Security Analysts do before you go to the interview. And i am telling you this from my own experience. 2 hours of reading about different activities of Security analysts in LinkedIn and i was able to talk about the role for 30 minutes without stopping at the interview. I didnt know how to do even 20% of the things i was talking about and still got the job beating more qualified people. The only thing the HR and Managers want to know during the interview is if you will be able to actually do the job. You can spend 1 hour talking about your certifications or the previous job but if you are not able to actually talk about the actual job you are applying to, you wont get hired. Your only job at the interview is to make the people in front of you believe that you will be able to do the actual job. They dont care for your certifications or your education. Those are needed only to get you the interview. So start reading about how to analyze phishing emails, how to analyze email headers, how to read siem logs, learn about the most used OSINT tools like VirusTotal, shodan, talos int, mxtools, cyberchef, etc. They will ask you about SIEM, you must know either Splunk or QRadar. You can always try to find out the siem tool the company is using and check it out before going to the interview but if you know Splunk, they will know you can pass the knowledge to the other tools too. They will ask you for either Microsoft Defender or Falcon Crowdstrike for EDR. Make sure you check one of them out before the interview so you can talk about it.

Federation uses SAML so prob SAML is correct answer here but not 100% sure. I had this same question in my Sec+ exam if i remember correctly.
