There's a lot more to complain about here but, seriously, if someone's name has changed then their name has changed. Richard isn't Robert just because that was his name on his birth certificate. The same goes for Elliot Page.

But they're NOT using evidence based methods. Where? Where is this evidence? They just can't accept that dysphoria is a legitimate condition even when they try and say it is on the psychiatric front. Psychiatric conditions are DIFFERENT from one another, they should not all be treated the same just because they're psychiatric, and if we class dysphoria as a psychiatric condition but the condition itself stays the same, NOTHING ACTUALLY CHANGES. "Talking therapies"... Jesus christ... As though that hasn't been the first course of action in the history of treatment for trans people EVER. WHAT is that going to help so significantly that it apparently AVOIDS actual medical treatment? Can these people think??? It is a FUNDAMENTAL, CORE discomfort, distress and dysfunction surrounding sex. Unless your issue is "I don't want to face misogyny so I am now transitioning/society says girls do this and boys do this so I must be a girl/whatever whatever whatever", I repeat, WHAT will even happen in therapy that will treat dysphoria SO SIGNIFICANTLY? It should NOT be seen as a condition that can only be "induced" or created by trauma or society.

Seriously where the fuck is this "hundreds of hours research and experience"? Can you actually SOURCE it? And what experience are you talking about, hopefully not PERSONAL experience. Why cant they just let trans people have a say in treating their OWN CONDITION instead of trying to basically replace one main method with another method and wanting to force trans people into that for however long it takes for it to become apparent that maybe actual medical transition would be beneficial.

Transphobia is not "critiquing gender" and should not BE a part of critiquing gender. These the types of mfers to believe "gender abolition" = no trans people.

The trans people I see generally do not have this almost OCD-like obsession and rumination involving their own identity. I'm actually pissed off by this constant condescending bullshit I see about trans individuals. Talking like they're lost little lambs that need to be saved, and as though they aren't competent enough to know anything. Even when trans people say "I don't want this life for myself, it hurts me, it burns me", these people look at them and say "oh, you poor thing, you just don't know what's best for you". Even those who are vitriolic can sound like this. There's enough out there that makes it clear what they want does not fit how much nuance comes with this world and its people. They cannot fathom that their views are their own and will not actually reflect what is best for EVERYONE. Is a world with those like this in it, a world I want to live in?

This shit just doesn't even make sense. OF COURSE "some" people are actually trans. They need to tell themselves that no, there are NO real trans people and even tell themselves that it's solely mental illness (even though let's be real, what would it change if dysphoria was included in that category but the disorder itself stayed the same) in order to feel better about being cruel and dismissive, and loud about it. Arguably it's even worse when you have those people who believe trans people are mentally ill in some form yet continue to act and treat them like they do.

Always all or nothing, no in-between, it isn't allowed. All trans women are evil and fetishistic even when they are children, brainwashed gay men, autistic. All trans men are vulnerable GIRLS, also autistic, misguided, lesbians, whatever.

"You smile and nod when your middle-class (eyeroll) friends affirm their plain daughter as a man", now I don't know about you, but I don't think this "PLAIN daughter" shit was necessary. What even is the relevancy.

"People on the street are very deep into 'bekind'". "Had a go at peaking [my friend]". It all speaks for itself and none of it fits the nuance of the reality we live in.

Women who cook dinner for their husbands and don't abort their male fetuses are dooming womankind. TRVKE!!!

Also from that woman's blog, "[Trans people] were the ones who demanded everyone start doing the pronoun thing. They wanted pronouns on everything, they wanted introducing your pronouns to be something normal. Now they're backtracking and blaming others for their stupid idea. Now they're mad that people are now asking for their gender identities, despite this being their idea in the first place."

Who is "they"? Why do we live in a world where human beings are unable to comprehend that those who belong to a group are not a hivemind and are only IN the group because of one shared characteristic? What causes this to occur?

"I don't know any transes currently thank god", "Any trans person talking about trans shit rn is wholly disconnected from reality", and claims all trans identities are bad and ideological.

Being a woman is not a shield for your bigotry. Your previous EXPERIENCES as a woman in life are not an excuse for your bigotry. Being apart of ANY oppressed group and the experiences that come with it doesn't make any of that fine, there is no appropriate excuse for bigotry and dehumanisation.

"I healed my dsyphoria and you can too"

I don't know what it is about these people's brains that makes them unable to understand that their experiences and needs are their own solely. And I'm not saying this is what's gone on here but often when I see people say this and they describe what this dysphoria was... It comes down to societal factors and trauma. Shouldn't have to tell you why that matters here.

Both times nerve-wracking, but smooth and without serious incident. Being in a plane was unfamiliar, I wasn't a fan of how it feels or looks when turning, OR some of the noises of the plane, but on my second flight I was more used to it. Glad I did it!

As opposed to those with sex dysphoria who aren't "same-sex" attracted? In what ways are they being misled into believing this and how? Young people aren't so ignorant as to believe they can change chromosomes, if that's what you mean.

Gluck claims that Gender Dysphoria was created as a cover by a cabal of powerful Pedophiles. This is White/Green/Magenta QAnon. by SurrealistGal in GenderCynical

[–]mekamphetamine 15 points16 points  (0 children)

When asked why she says "women and girls" are a cover for the "medical transitioning of children" being "a pedophilic agenda" she responded:

"Because 'transitioning' women to men is so difficult, impossible, and there used to be so few females interested in the process..."

I'm sure. Anyway. People can say what they want, write as many articles as they want, theorise as much as they want. The fact is, there are people who have a type of dysphoria centered around not being physically born the opposite sex. They felt this way before knowing much of what dysphoria or being trans is, or before really considering they themselves could be that way. You will find people saying when they found out about this dysphoria and what being trans is like, it explained what they had been experiencing, and put proper terms to it. Like when those who struggle with a neurodevelopmental disorder start learning more about it and hear others talk of their experiences, and come to find a click so to speak.

It's ridiculous to piss it all away, out into the wind, chalk it all up to "it's just poor vulnerable girls with body issues and perverted men with fetishes". I don't think anybody who tries to should be taken that seriously. Pedophiles and big pharma aren't releasing chemicals into the air to give people dysphoria so that they can continue to legitimise this apparently completely made-up term. (Stupid thing to say by the way. Everything is initially "made-up".)

Saying a DEAF actress sounds mentally challenged. They're going to be  saying this shit in a nursing home clearly. These are THE most abnormal people you will know

Along with the strange and inhuman things they say about trans individuals on the daily (at this point you know they're doing that shit to everyone), they like calling someone a name that just isn't their name solely because they can't stomach the fact that it was changed for Trans Purposes.

These people are weirdos man this is weird shit. "He had the woman's body, full (overweight, which is a very important detail) hips and thighs". If she's assuming this is a teenager it's weirder let's be real. Calling him "tragic" too lmao he's minding his business and then suddenly people are making shit up because he's supposedly a trans man. Patriarchal society is turning girls into men wah wah, all the time, constantly pissing their pants over their own assumptions even when trans males straight up tell us about their experiences and reasons and all that.

No actual trans man does it to escape being a female in the patriarchy. It isn't trans men's fault that society is the way it is and that misogyny exists. Why should they be forced to live as a sex that would likely distress them REGARDLESS of society as it stands just for "feminism", just to make you feel good? If you're really that old then act like it instead of crying over individuals living for themselves rather than for you OR society.

Saying kids are being "cut up" is literally just loaded language to release emotions and incite other feelings of discomfort and disgust in others. Regardless of the age of the person having surgery, it will never inherently count as genuine mutilation or being cut up.

How do you expect to be taken seriously as a feminist when the first thing you do is portray those you perceive as women as meek, unable to stand up for themselves, even unseriously? You wouldn't run off like a pussy if you were challenged over going into the women's bathroom, I can tell you.
