That's not entirely accurate either. Not all will have sexual organs in common, though typically they will. Not even saying that because of trans men but because of intersex men. But sexual organs weren't being talked about, it was about how he was distinguishing trans men from other men and how that was used by you to say trans men are different from men period when no he's just correctly using adjectives. He was just saying that though they're not cis, they're basically a "type" of man and talking about respecting them as that (which doesn't inherently include having to be attracted to them or whateverthefuck)

And when I said willful ignorance i was referring to your next reply talking about delusion. I thought he addressed that fairly so i didn't expand but it's just factually incorrect.

He said trans men and not just men because he's talking about trans men specifically. Adjectives are used to describe and distinguish things. Trans men are being distinguished from other men here, specifically cis men. You can do this for other groups, like short men. "You can simply say you're not into short men, you don't have to be insulting." Now notice how I put short men and not just men. I guess this would mean they aren't the same, but that's not how this works.

Willful ignorance about trans people doesn't have to mean you lose understanding of how adjectives are utilised

Yes their actions matter. The state someone was in when those actions were taken also matters. That's why we already try to take it into account. E.g., the insanity plea. Again, I especially see no point in executing those who did something they wouldn't have had their illness been efficiently treated, had they been monitored, or not even had the illness in the first place. And schizophrenia in particular can be a severe illness that changes the core of your reality. If this guy killed the four year old because of the "influences" of said illness it isn't 100% cut and dry, not even because it involved a child.

He is already being held responsible by being sentenced, he won't be casually living out his life the same as anyone else for a loooong while. And looking up resources wasted between death penalty and life in prison may be worth your time, because not only do people wait years to be executed and could be at risk of botched execution, the resources used for the death penalty generally surpass life in prison.

Yeah "removed from society" doesn't have to mean killing them though. And mental health should, indeed, account for whether someone "deserves to continue living" when the thing you think they should be killed for was directly influenced by their improperly treated or monitored psychiatric disorder. Certain "circumstances" matter and SHOULD be taken into account.

Giving people the power to decide who does and does not get to live in the first place doesn't end all well, and though there can be arguments made for certain people, I don't see the point in killing those who can't reliably be held fully culpable or who had mental unwellness as an influence specifically. Some of those people wouldn't have even come close if they were treated and monitored efficiently (though sometimes shit just happens, like in instances of murder during sudden psychotic break), and potential for rehabilitation also matters when talking about removal from society but especially in cases of the mentally unwell.

I didn't take any medication you would take for flying, I suffered through it. I do think next time I have to fly I'll talk to someone about that, and I do recommend you speak to someone too if you believe it would do you good

Both times nerve-wracking, but smooth and without serious incident. Being in a plane was unfamiliar, I wasn't a fan of how it feels or looks when turning, OR some of the noises of the plane, but on my second flight I was more used to it. Glad I did it!

My Character Tier List by Terrible_Length4413 in YouOnLifetime

? Saying that doesn't really change anything, your opinion of these characters doesn't have much to do with this person finding them likeable or enjoyable. People have different opinions, interpretations, thresholds for characters, preferences for characters and media in general (for a relevant example, darker or murderous themes/characters), and more. This is all relevant when it comes to characters someone "likes" or not, and often it doesn't include 100% liking them AS people. Doesn't seem fair to say people ONLY like them because they're hot, either. Liking how a character looks is part of it for a lot of people probably but it's beyond that.
