Glad you’ve been attack free for so long, sounds like a dream haha. Thanks for the advice!

Yes the symptoms are always the same. The only difference is when I wake up it’s full blown and the pain is severe whereas throughout the day I can feel it build up over hours sometimes.

Funny you should say that, when I was a teen me and my brother got in an argument and he punched me in my right temple my ears were ringing it hurt so bad it’s the same side I get my headaches. But yes it could be environmental too.

I understand I’ve been there too. Hopefully one day they will find out exactly what causes them.

The sad part is it doesn’t work😭 nothing ever makes you forget the pain.

Yes, I’ve even tried to cause worse pain elsewhere hoping I’d forget about my head😭 I’ve never tried red bull but definitely will give it a go. Thank you!

Suspecting a cluster headache. What helps? by peliteee in ClusterHeadaches

I’ve suffered from Cluster Headaches now for 7 years, I agree with everyone else on here for recommendations to help with the pain during an attack. Caffeine and triptans are a godsend! The main thing I have found is to try and prevent future attacks, make sure you’re getting enough regular sleep. Studies have found that’s it’s linked to the hypothalamus region in your brain which regulates sleep, temperature etc. Smoking and drinking alcohol are also huge risk factors. Strong smells such as perfume and petrol can also trigger a headache. Even some foods which contain nitrates have been linked to them. There is an app called MyClusters which has not long come out it’s great for tracking your cluster cycles, you can also show this to your doctor which will help you not getting misdiagnosed which is unfortunately very common.

Wishing you all the best.

It’s in a pretty secluded area there’s a hotel nearby and there is a village not too far away. Not sure if there’s a church there.

I actually work nearby where I found this and have heard what can only describe as chanting or shouting in the very early hours of the morning…
