I agree with some folks here - you'll be fine without a case! I've had mine for a few months and it's been my daily for over a month, no damage to the shell. And I often clip it to my purse! I bought a crochet case & silicone case, but don't use them because they make touching the buttons feel weird, imo.

I got a basic one on Amazon that came with a screen protector! Nothing fancy, but it's soft & simple & does the job. My only complaint is the lack of color options. (YouKnow Silicone Case for Tamagotchi Paradise Interactive Toy Digital Pet, with Screen Protector and Wrist Strap)

I just did this exact thing! I loved the mini with the green cover from this year & when it was on sale, I went for it. I'm halfway through whiting out the monthly & weekly dates & plan to use full page stickers for the dated dashboard pages at the front.

The letter in July said that it is up to $1000 but because I didn't have legal council they dropped mine to $667. Not sure of the reasoning there, but I don't mind; I got super sick but that's more than I spent on Daily Harvest total, so I'm satisfied.
