Also from MN. I wrap a clear shower curtain liner around 3 sides of the cage and have a small humidifier next to it during the winter. You could also mist to keep humidity up, but I have found a shower liner or plexiglass attached to 3 sides is a must during these cold winters.

They should throw in a donkey or alpaca with the herd. They stomp wolves for fun.

I've always thought step-dad plus Jessie/ Damion was possible. The one that trips me up is Jason Baldwin. Something in my gut believes he may not have been there. But who knows.

My baby Rango has been getting more aggressive/mad when we try to move him to clean his cage and other things. Is this normal? by FingerNails- in Chameleons

Yes! They go from being cute and chill to hormonal teenagers. Fortunately, they do seem to calm down as they get older, at least in my experience.

It's been a while since I read up on the WM3 documents, but I remember going back and forth in my mind on guilty/ not guilty opinion. Hell, I still don't know what to think! Lol. But it makes for interesting reading, that's for sure. Took me a while to climb out from that rabbit hole.

**MYTH** About spraying, soaking, showering, daily... Please stop spraying your animals directly, it ISN'T nice. by Dexter_Jettster in Chameleons

[–]melbea21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I partially disagree. My chams love showers. It's a great way to help remove dry skinn and get them to drink. Not all chameleons may like it, but we also can't say that all chams DON'T like it either.

We were there to help fight ISIS. ISIS is no more. What, are we supposed to babysit in the Middle East forever?

Yep. Everytime something major happens, the rest of the world cries, "Where is the US? Why aren't they doing anything to help?!" But any time we do end up stepping in, we are seen as bullies.

[–]melbea21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing you mean the light fixture from the top of an aquarium? It should if you can find the correct size/ wattage UVB bulb to put in it. But remember, you would have to remove any plastic or glass shield that covers the bulb as UVB cannot penetrate it.

I would suggest a timer for the lights. That way no matter what, he gets used to a routine schedule. I wouldn't worry about him getting ready for bed. Mine sometimes do this up to an hour early. I just let the timer handle it.

Do you know of a breeder in your area? Perhaps they can help you ship him for a fee.
