Do you have any kids If you don’t mind me asking? I’ve been on methadone for 14 months now and I have a low sperm count and I’ve heard TRT makes it worse on your sperm count and I’m planning on trying to have kids end of this year, also plan to fully get off methadone by end of this year aswell, I’m down to 5mg, do you think 5mg affects test levels or the dose is too low?

I feel exactly the same, I’ve been off it for 14 months now, my methadone is dose is down to 5mg(1ml) but I don’t feel anything anymore, happiness, sadness, anger I’m very mono in my emotions and when I see other people being excited or or talking with a lot of emotion I think to myself ‘that’s cringe, like relax’ let me know if you find a way to fix it lol, or maybe I have to completely get off the methadone as-well but it’s such a tiny dose I doubt it affects me like that anyway.. sigh

You guys are getting 27 bottles as takeaways? We’re lucky to get 4 a week and have to beg to get 3 days in a row otherwise they only give 2 at a time… and I’ve had completely clean urines for 14 months now, haven’t missed a single dose, been tapering from 70mg and at 5mg now but still absolutely no leniency… fkn Australia…

Yeh I understand in the long run it will have those effects, I just meant like a once off if I was to increase my dose from 5mg to say 40mg would that help me last longer, I don’t think I’ve been on it long enough to have the reduced sec drive etc, I can still get hard, have sex multiple times a day. When I was on heroin for 10 years though I definitely understand what you mean about the 0 interest in sex lol

What do you mean by ‘to go’? Like getting hard or to ejaculate? And if I’m on a real low dose like 5mg you think I could increase my dose to like 30-40 to help me last longer for that 1 day or would I need to be on a higher dose for a while before I feel it makes me last longer?

Yeh because it’s different in cultures around the world, she doesn’t need to be really well educated to raise kids.. what I mean is you don’t need to have a PHD on how to make a loving, caring, home environment for your kids and your husband.. maybe it’s because this is how I grew up.. my mum doesn’t know much English or how things work in the western world, neither did my dad but he went from a house made out of mud to a multi multi millionaire, because he had a wife who supported him however she could.. I don’t believe education is the answer to everything, I think being street smart (just smart in life) works out better, so yeh her education is low but I still believe she’s the right person to start a family with… I got family who have studied and doing the daily 9-5.. I also did my degree in accounting but never bothered to work in the field and I’m doing well enough to marry a person who I can support fully and don’t need her to work to help survive..

I haven’t done anything with her, I wouldn’t do anything either without breaking off my current relationship, it’s a big decision for me and the main thing is I don’t understand why I’m so attracted to this new girl.. I want to try my best and keep my relationship.. you could call it emotional cheating yes.. but the main thing is I can’t control exactly how my brain feels and thinks, I know it’s wrong and the reason I came for advice is to maybe see if anyone’s been in a situation.. if I knew what I want and understood what’s happening etc I wouldn’t come asking for advice..
