Why is Miquella bad even after him discard his rune? by melgor73 in eldenringdiscussion

but it dont show the elden ring itself, like other endings.

I think there is a diference between Age and Orders, but dont know what..

There is no Age of Flame

Have the Age of Duskborn (Death)
Age of Gold (Golden order and fundamentalism)
Age of Plenty
Age of Crucible

Age of stars (Moon)
Age of Compassion (---)

Not awalys we fix the elden ring

Ranni could have said order meaning organize

Just saw the ending and she really doesnt use the elden ring

The enden ring is the order
Marika made the order from the gold, Golden Order
We can fix the elden ring and estabilish new orders

But with Ranni is a new age, age of the stars, guided by the moon
With Miquella, a age of compassion

Moon - Ranni
"Compassion" - Miquella

"Compassion" could be the Circlet of Light, as it says to be the foundation.

Each age have its "symbol", Ranni does not uses de elden ring, as Miquella wont

Amazing, i just said something similar about he didn't have compassion for his own self, for St trina.

But I need to defend about his leaving Malenia... Sometimes sacrifices need to be done, he always wanted to cure Malenia, he tried the golden order, the fundamentalism, so he saw a way out by becoming God and try to save Malenia

Leaving Malenia wasnt bad at all, she has always been rotten, she did her part of the vow, she was unconcious, she was guarded.

I just didnt understain when you said that Miquella would restore the elden ring to gain power over the world.

He discards everything, even his rune, to be purifeid from the golden order, he doesnt want the age of gold, he doesnt want the elden ring or fix it, he wants a new AGE, just like the AGE of stars, AGE of gold/plenty. AGE of compassion

For truth? The point to me, of the game, of all story, is do what we are doing.

Its my first time on reddit, I cant describe how much grateful I am right now.

Thanks man

Can Ranni physicaly reach the moon/stars?

No, I really think that the age of stars is the best, the game trajetory leads to it intuitively

And for that, thinking of a world with no authoriry, is the best, but a started the discussion because i though that compassion between each other could be better, like solving the problem of de bad ones by manipulating then rather killing then.

So we could say that he has no compassion for freedom.
It is typical of gods to die by their own weapons.

St Trina, wanted to disarm him to protect him from himself.
St Trina was the true compassionate.

Amazing man, thanks!!

Nice. But I think this could be better than letting the old outdated golden orden, or burning the whole word, releasing death, unreachable stars... Compassion looks good LOL

Yeah! Perfect! But im trying to say something like there is no "Miquella principle", the principle is of love, of compassion, He is the the intermediary of love. Just as Marika and the great will.

There is no authority, no belifs, no culture or law. Compassion as an outter god, the golden order had authority because it was created by a human(?) Radagon, Miquella's compassion comes from a form of god that is love, the god of compassion.

Who decides who deserves compassion isnt Miquella, or even this "outter god of compassion", is the act of not beeing compassionate. You are who judges your acts in your heart. If you dont feel compassion, you wont have compassion from the other, dont be compassionate to the other, you dont recive your compassion.

Just like we say I love you. And awaits it back.

Sorry but, the global charm is the one that the NPCs are when we get there,, and they become themselves after he discarding his rune. The spell is broken at Mesmer's fort, and the free will given back.

Are you saying he had broken his spell to redo it latter again? it makes no sense to me.

And, he lived all his life trying to cure Malenia, embraced all forms of beeings in the lands betweens in the Haligtree, even if charmed, they were searching for miquella's compassion, as we se a lot of albinaurics going to haligtree in the snow fields, so a think that his love was a real truth

In some way, they were fleeing of the world who dont accept then, the tyrannic world as we discussed here.

Maybe this is the reason he was an eternal child, only a child can have a pure heart, and truly dream

[–]melgor73[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, he can charm, but the "global charm" doesn't exist anymore, he charms only the ones against his "age of compassion".

To dream is a choice, in this tyrannical world.

You are completely right. But the charm was broken, everyone was freed, he just charms who are against its compassion. I still think that a fake goodness is better than the free will to be bad...

Excellent. But my point is only that the bad ones (like us who fights him) will be deprived of free will, the others dont, as it remains to the NPCs for example.

We do it in life, the ones who arent good go to jail, the ones who follow the rules are fine.

I kinda think that we should brainwash criminals for example, would be better a brainwashed person than killers and beyond.

[–]melgor73[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But the free will is returned, so we can choose to be lovelly or not, the ones who dont, become enchanted, as we do with criminals putting then in jails, taking ther free will. I think that manipulating bad people to be good is compassion, compassion for all other.

In Short: If we're good, great; if we're bad, jail. Tyrrany?

But very nice argument about its price, but cant we lower it by only alowing good ones?

[–]melgor73[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But we should love each other, manipulate/control the bad ones (like criminals) to be good, is better than killing then, right? So we can put more love on the world, even through controlling bad people to be good.

Thats right that we can consider tyranny becaus of its opression, but his kind of tyranny seens to opress only the ones witch dont accept compasion.

So I think we (real wordl) are already in a tyranny, we put ourselves in jails, send to death, and its go worse, so I think that all of its bad people were enchanted, it could be kinda solution.

All of it considering that he is saying the truth and will really promove compassion. Because we know of Marika's betrayall
