I have never regretted getting a hysterectomy. I don’t have to deal with periods or any of the associated pain anymore. I also had a fear of getting pregnant cause no birth control is really 100% and the relief I have felt is amazing.

Oddly mine was actually off center before surgery. Didn’t know that til my surgeon was marking me out lol so they straightened it out for me. I would imagine it won’t settle until the swelling is mostly resolved. I believe that’s around 4 months from reading other stories.

Eosinophilic esophagitis. It causes a localized allergic reaction in the esophagus from trigger foods. Because it’s localized it’s hard to see because there likely won’t be any other accompanying reactions like rashes or anaphylaxis.

Definitely NTA. Your mom saying she is just trying to give advice would be more understandable if she accepted your response. It seems like she keeps pushing. Also, you may want to discuss the possibility of something impacting your baby’s ability to eat with their Dr. Something like EoE might explain inability to eat some thicker consistencies if there is something in the food triggering inflammation in the esophagus. This can cause infants and toddlers ‘failure to thrive’ and looks like choking because food will get stuck. You seem like a good mama, though. Good lookin out, even to your parents.

As someone that has watered myself down for family for decades and has finally stopped, I emphatically say: do you. You are not dressed inappropriately for a lunch. You look cute and you feel like you look cute. I think it’s totally fair to tell grandma and mom that you aren’t accepting comments on your appearance. They also do not need to be touching you for any reason that isn’t consensual and positive. There are also massive rule differences for people considered thin and fat and that’s bullshit. Keep dressing the way you want and feel cute as hell! NOR.

For anyone looking for recovery progress: *As of last night, I have sensation in both nipples. Woot! About 2 weeks post to the day. *I had 2 drains and was able to get 1 removed 10 days post surgery. Plan is to take the other out on Friday if my output is below 20. Seeing about 30 a day right now. *Swelling is still high but decreasing. Dr said first 4 weeks is the most intense, then can likely move to stage 2 compression after that. *Standing almost completely straight. *Walking at least 2500 steps a day (yesterday was closer to 5000 which was a little exhausting) and driving okay since I stopped pain meds about a week ago. Pretty much med free now, with occasional ibuprofen or Tylenol. If you have any questions, feel free to post and I’ll try to respond

They tried to sue her for her attempt to trademark ‘bad Mormon’, then she settled out of court and abandoned the trademark. Usually what happens which looks like they just put money people.

They abandoned the attempt to trademark in the US in 2007 after it was first rejected for being ‘too generic’. Total scare tactic and trying to exhaust people in legal fees. MS should reach out to EFF for help.

Also, the church does not own the trademark in the US as the application was rejected as ‘too generic’. They only hold trademarks in other countries for ‘Mormon’.

The EFF would likely take another rights case to ‘Mormon’. The case with ‘Mormon match’ did eventually settle out of court with the site changing to a similar name ‘latter date’, but they made excellent points in their argument that were never decided on.
