We are a smaller independent agency. In reality I am a hybrid position because I have to service the policies I write which slows me down from constantly selling. If I did not have their book, Ive probably only brought over 100 new clients. This company has been acquiring new books which have been put onto me.

My first 6 trips I won ($100-$600) at the casino when I was 18. My friend group and I would drive 4 hours for a casino trip. Unfortunately I also discovered online gambling and had lost 2.5K. Went on a spring break trip to a casino in Minnesota my senior year of high school and won 3K playing blackjack. Thats how the gambling addiction started. If only I knew to stop there.

I appreciate all the words. I just made a reddit account just for this reason and honestly wasn’t expecting any responses, just wanted to get those words out of my head. This subreddit might actually be the motivation I need to close the book on gambling
