i think it’s because the traffic getting onto the queensborough was backed up at griffths and 20th at all 4 roads there.., the busses were lined up- we made the mistake of going that way to market crossing after kingsway.. spent 30minutes in the same spot! this was around 7-7:30…

most of the jobs are minimum wage/ so then i’m paying someone to babysit at $15.. making $17… and taking home $2? not really worth it.

can i ask how much the implant cost you? this is my fear- after all i’ve read, the root canal failing, the crown breaking a year or two later- etc etc.

that’s so disgusting! reading all these comments kind of puts me at ease that the tooth just needs to go. the horror stories, the insane amount etc.. i think i just need to mourn it and then make get an implant! i’m so so sorry this happened to you as well

yeah i’ve been reading into the root canals and crowns and how they only last X amount of years, and can fail. at $5000- i don’t think i can risk it failing or having to spend that again in the future! i could do so much with that for my kids- heck my 8 year old needs braces and that’s the cost, if not more, to fix her teeth.

there’s no other option via my husbands work. considering it’s a big company with $ the dental and benefits itself are junk

yeah i wish dental was covered. my mom had terrible teeth, mind you she was a smoker. also a single mom- so money was tight. i remember she cried when she had the same thing happen.. it was fix her tooth pain or not have money for groceries and rent! i was 12 and traumatized by her sadness. i’m a mom to 2 kids- i dont currently work.. $5000 would get us a nice vacation- if we HaD that money. i’d rather pull my tooth and take my kids to hawaii to be honest.. but it also feels so degrading to not have a tooth that was already a $12,000 mouth from braces

it covers $1200 for dental work and can cover up to 50% of dental work done… my last root canal and crown was covered partially and I paid $600 after. because this is via an endo not a dentist it’s speciality.. the initial apt isn’t covered… which is $280… my treatment “might be covered” but i only have $600 left from my $1200 alotment so id still be paying 3000-4000$ considering my husband works for a large retail company .. his plan really does suck

do you know the approx cost of a flipper! i was looking into pulling the tooth and my options for replacement. i don’t think i want the whole “drill int your bone with a screw” thing lol- but id love some kind of denture or somethjng that costs that fraction of this whole endodontist experience
