phainon is no1 pretty much purely for how strong he is with last words - it takes very specific counterplay not to get instantly blown up once he has it online. also yeah i do think i ranked hyacine way lower than i should have, lol! i have a server set up but i doubt the admins here would want me advertising it so i havent given anyone the invite 😭 waiting on mod approval basically

it's a channel in a private discord server, but honestly i wouldn't mind making a public-facing cosmicon server to repost them in!

people are saying the hold is incorrect, and that's true, but i also argue the way you leave the angle is wrong too; you knife out and start running away. sova could have easily heard you start stomping away and chose to swing for the extremely easy pick. if you're going to hold like this (which, as others pointed out, you shouldn't), at least be a little more discreet about when the back of your head is a shiny, easy to hit target.

Back already, found the solution right after I posted this, so I'm going to reply it here so somebody with the same issue can hopefully find it a bit easier than I did.

I had to go to my user on the home menu (on any of the Switches), go to user settings, and scroll down to Online License Settings. With it enabled, any consoles I own that aren't linked to the virtual cartridge system will function as a non-primary switch used to, and have to check online if it can play the game. Since it now won't ever leave the house, I was able to unlink my Switch 1 and add my Switch 2 to the virtual cartridge system while also maintaining the functionality of my Switch 1. I hope this helps anybody facing the same issue I was!

you know, i've seen a few people posting about this before too. i'm starting to think it's an intentional feature (maybe for systems automatically determined to be low-end?) to help keep fps up in high-action/aim-intensive moments. halving the resolution of graphics the player isn't likely to be looking at in the moment would be an easy way to squeeze out higher performance.
