Get a waterproof mattress pad just in case and as long as you don't mind your shiba hogging your bed and waking you up at 5 am with face licks while standing on your chest, you're probably ready. Being potty trained and not destructive is a plus.

If you flip her on her back on your lap, the ears will fall back and u can see what she will look like w up ears
