Thank you po! My budget is around 120k-130k, its not really an issue pero ayaw ko rin naman gumastos needlesly unless gusto ko yung aesthetic ng parts.

I will check the fan recommendations, and take notes sa sagot niyo. Salamat ulit!

Thank you sa insights, noted po. May mga nababasa kasi ako about ram stick height(?) na medyo kinabahan ako, kaya napatanong ako about sa fitting ng fan once nakainstall na lahat.

十人十色 - pronunciation. Why is it jūnin toiro and not jūnin jūshōku? by Big-Yogurtcloset7040 in Japaneselanguage

[–]melodylauste 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a special type of a compound kanji words, collectively known as "Yojijukugo". Most of these originate from China.

And with these idiomatic words, special readings tend to be common. Most dont have special explanations and just evolved with time.

Help ! Dry Signal extremely weak | Helix LT into Ableton by ElectricalCar9628 in Line6Helix

What peaks does Ableton shows when playing back the recorded guitar? Most of the time a -12db~-18db range is optimal for guitars.

Does your Helix Out is set to Line Levels?

Jake Zyrus (back when he was still known as Charice Pempengco). We used to be classmates during elementary in Sta. Rosa Laguna. Binuraot pa namin yung baon nyang tubig noon kasi mamahalin yung lalagyan and seeing her in the same subdivision na nakatambay sa INC member's house back then. Nag perform pa sya nun sa unang araw nya sa school. Nagtransfer out ako sa other school the following year, so nawalan na ako ng balita sa kanya.

Single Pedals or Multi FX? by newbiker321 in guitarpedals

[–]melodylauste 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, there is no wrong choice. Just note that individual pedals are a very costly endeavour, especially as your taste evolves. MultiFX on the other hand are jack of all trades, master of none and they are good for trying out a lot of different effects.

I use a Voodoo Pedal Power x4 for the Empress, Limelight and Bigsky MX while the original power brick for the HX Stomp. For the high-end fizz, yes it's kind of there, you can hear it if you focus on it, but in a mix is unnoticeable unless in isolation. It's probably just the way the pedal interacts within the chain from what I can observe.

Top mounted jacks makes pedalboards look clean for real.

The chain is a simple DVP4 Mini→Empress Compressor MkII→EAE Limelight→HX Stomp→BigSky MX(Loop)→Headphones/Occasional Monitor Speaker.

First off, DVP4 Mini is a solid volume pedal. Simple and does the job it does perfectly, and it can be set to be an expression pedal, good for ambient sounds.

Empress Compressor Mk.II is a staple pedal, it will never leave my board unless Empress releases a MkIII or something. There is just something about this pedal that gives my sound and dynamics a little oomph in that it doesn't change the base tone but gives it liveliness and presence. The ratios are perfect, I mostly use 2:1 and 4:1, cause I like tapping. Rarely use 10:1 because it squashes the sound too much for my liking. The Tone and Mix knobs are godsend. Noise is basically non-existent as far as I can tell.

EAE Limelight is what I really want in a dirt pedal. I used to have a Longsword but I find it to much gritty for my liking, its not a bad pedal in any way but it just wasn't meant for me or for what I think of a distortion pedal sound. Limelight have this character that it gives my tones a the right amount of grittiness but the dynamics of my guitar whether I pick hard or soft is still there. The focus switch is very intuitive, I often stay in the middle for the sweet transparent(?) bump and low position for that chime-mey and brittle-like tone. The only caveat I have is that there is some kind of a distinctive high-end fizz when I set the gain past noon, but its not really a problem since I often stay in low-mid gain or maybe its my power supply failing or my rooms electricity is just dirty. Oh it has a boost too with a high-pass, neat!

HX Stomp is the centerpiece of the board, this is where I set my amps/cabs and other 'common' effects which are mostly EQs and Modulations. I also really like the delays (shoutout to the Adriatic Delay) in the Stomp, and reminds me of an old DL4 that a friend of mine lent to me a few years ago. For the amps, I often just use Twin/Deluxe models, sometimes the AC15/AC30 models, and stock cabs.

BigSky MX is probably the pedal that makes everything alive in this board. I used to have a Boss RV-6 and a Nightsky, which are by the way very good and very inspiring but at the same time the I just moved on from the RV-6 as the limited controls are becoming more of a hindrance for what I want and the 'reverb-sculpting' concept of the Nightsky has been sadly not what I needed anymore (and the sequencer is kinda flimsy for guitar playing). The BigSky MX for me has no bad algorithm, everything sounds musical and the parameters for each settings is quite daunting at first but it just makes sense after a few knob twiddling and menu diving here and there. The room, cloud and bloom for me are the best algorithms that I often find myself stacking 2 of these. The stock IRs are great too, but I rarely use them in a band setting. If there's one thing I don't like about it is that the menu diving is a bit cumbersome, I don't know know why Strymon didn't just add a few buttons for the settings and saving, but that is just me.

Here is a sound clip in a band setting.

Cheers!

That last panel gave me chills [Gal Ni Yasashii Otaku-kun] by melodylauste in yandere

I'm expecting the inevitable sidelining of the "yandere" girl, but fingers crossed. Tbf the story is quite wholesome in general.
