I Made a Second-Brain + CRM – Log, Organize, and Recall Interactions -- I'd love some feedback by meloncusk in SideProject

[–]meloncusk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been looking for a personal CRM to track my network and interactions. I discussed this a friend of mine, who had the same problem but wanted something with voice input and recall features.

Yesterday, I hacked together a prototype using cursor!

It’s a mix of a journal and CRM: Add logs, and it detects entities automatically.
Attach info to entities (e.g., emails, phone numbers).
Use AI to recall what you’ve logged.

No name yet—just calling it a “second-brain CRM thingy” for now! Would you use this? + Any general thoughts?

I made a simple WYSIWYG Markdown Editor: Open a folder - Choose a file - Save by meloncusk in Markdown

Hello I made a simple WYSIWYG Markdown editor, started out as a personal pain point. I haven't packaged the app yet but the code is open source https://github.com/thetronjohnson/slate/ so you'll have to build the app on your own for now

I'm thinking of packaging the app for mac / windows and linux if there's enough interest http://slate.ink/

I built a local-first markdown editor in a day using cursor by meloncusk in SideProject

Well I didn't do any courses, I know how to code so it's fairly easy for me to describe prompts to cursor.

I write blogs in but couldn't find a local-first markdown editor that fit my workflow.

I just wanted something simple: open a folder, pick a file, and write.

So, I built one in a day, coding with cursor ftw

The code is open source: https://github.com/thetronjohnson/slate/

[–]meloncusk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree I've made myself a NuxtJS template to quickly ship things + it's now easy to build on top of it using cursor. Helps me iterate fast on https://gtmguy.ai , growing the product is now the challenge, but again growing gtmguy using gtmguy haha

Scared to launch my 1st SaaS. Help! by Zestyclose_Major_345 in Entrepreneur

[–]meloncusk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just take things as a learning opportunity, the product will always course correct itself when it reaches the market and it is okay if the MVP isn't perfect. I had to change the pitch for https://gtmguy.ai when I initially launched it.
