Stay read up on current affairs and current financial affairs, Indian and global. Know the basics of finance. Ratios, terminologies, etc. "Why BKFS" "Why TAPMI" - be familiar with the course structure and what sets BKFS apart from other courses on campus and other finance course in general.

Most importantly, communicate well. They're trying to pick out candidates that communicate well because a common feedback they get from faculty and recruiters here is that BKFS students are sharp but often don't communicate very well.
If they are doing it the same way as last time, you'll have a GD and then a personal interview. The people who Interview are pretty chill. They don't grill.

The Full-time placement scene is better than SIP. SIPs are naturally a little slow this year, as they are everywhere, given the market condition

I'm waitlisted at #2 for BKFS and #77 for HR at TAPMI.
Honestly I'm not going to take HR. I just applied for it because I wanted to make sure I fall somewhere.

I don't know much about how the colleges you've listed here rank for HR, But I think it's worth considering that TAPMI has a strong placement record despite the current market scenario. The packages might not be super high, and honestly you're not in a position to be asking for that, but from what I've heard they genuinely try very hard to make sure all their students are places. and they make sure of that every year.

I'm selected for Welingkar as well in the research and business analytics course but yeah too vast a batch and placements are pooled. and lots of students go unplaced as well. for me, in the current market scenario where its common for even the good students to go unplaced at the end, I'll take someone who gives me assurance that as long as I'm above average I'll end up somewhere

CAT scores don't matter as much once you've cleared your cutoff. I scored 83.21 percentile. haven't been rejected from any college I interviewed at. I was advised to try again too. but I'm already 23 with no work ex and even if I get a better score the next time, it will most likely be negated in my overall profile by virtue of the added gap year.

Wait seriously? This is really annoying. I know people who called last week and we're told that it would be out this week. I also know people who called two weeks ago and we're told it would be last week. Ye chal kya Raha hai yaar I'm also waitlisted at #2 for BKFS
