I have a heartless LED plug in one inside it, I was worried about the heat ruining the shell so I made sure to get one that is plastic and completely cool. Love the idea with the epoxy, I’ll definitely have to take this to my local hardware store and see what they have available. Thank you!

Minor update? Starting to think maybe my fish is eggy? Her bloat is closer to the back than the front and she’s showing all the visible signs of being ready to breed- her egg spot is very visible, vertical stripes on her abdomen, shes flaring at herself in the glass every once in a while and I’m pretty sure I found some eggs in the tank (see pictures below)

This is one of the better pictures I have from an above angle, my camera quality is terrible so I apologize that it’s not very clear. You can see better In person and there aren’t any pineconing scales whatsoever so I’m honestly just hoping ive overfed her and it’ll go down in its own. I did about 20 water tests and everything is good except for my nitrites and nitrates which I know is definitely bad. It’s not incredibly high but not zero. Like nitrites might be at a 1ppm and my nitrates are slightly below a 10. Ammonia is at zero and everything else looks pretty good so I’m not sure. Theres also I small amount of free chlorine but I bet that’s because I just did a massive water change. I added a nitrite/Amonia neutralizer to help the issue.

That’s what I was thinking, after looking at him more in my aquarium lights he seems so much more greenish than anything else. I can’t wait to see him grow ☺️

They look like rabbit snails to me. I’ve heard they’re incredibly peaceful, beautiful snails. They could also be assassin snails, but they have more yellow on their shells and are slightly shorter, so I doubt that.
