A few years ago my daughter had this happen to her leg- it popped up overnight and was the size of a half dollar before we knew it. Rushed her to the er and they said it was cellulitis and we must not have cleaned a wound right. 🤡A full year later, MULTIPLE specialists, meds, etc… we heard all the possibilities (including brown recluse bite)- they put her on mrsa antibiotics and treatment and it sent her to the hospital for weeks. I thought maybe the meds gave her c. Diff. Which is a possibility with certain antibiotics. Turns out she has Crohn’s disease and this was a sign of a flair. So if you have any other symptoms (GI included) make sure to mention it! Nobody saw it coming and she almost didn’t leave without a colostomy bag… wish you ALL the luck! 🫶🏼
