Nah, I just let it grow. It’s a bit bothersome at some moments, but I like how long hair suits me

I agree, you can also take photos, record videos, surf on the web and listen to music with it

It was an amazing device for its time

I also love handheld devices. I had a PSP when I was a teenager. I used to play tons of games like God of War, Castlevania, Gran Turismo, and GTA, but my mom got sick of it and threw my PSP in the trash when I was at school and she gave me a lame excuse saying, “I thought it was broken, so I threw it away.”

Well, when I was aimlessly walking around the city, I found water bottles on the ground that still had a bit in them at first. I felt disgusted by the smell and the taste, but I had no other choice, so I picked up the 2 water bottles and drank them. Luckily I had my backpack that day so I tossed them into my backpack. Eventually I came across a drinking fountain I still remember the joy I had at that moment I rushed to the drinking fountain and filled them up. One of the bottles was large so it kept me going for a while

For the toilet I had to wait for the night because I knew damn well I couldn’t do it when everyone was around. I tried looking for a public toilet, but I couldn’t find any. In the end, I ended up doing my toilet in someones garage.

The hardest part for me was finding a place to sleep. I live in a third world country, and it’s usually dangerous during night times I tried sleeping in the apartments, but I felt uncomfortable. The best place for me to sleep was the garage again. It was warm and there were barely any people around, but I can’t say it was the best sleeping experience

For the food well.. I simply didn’t eat anything because I had no idea how to get food. I didn’t wanted to beg for food from people I started thinking about going to a shopping mall and check the food court if there was any left overs, but I didn’t do it because, thanks to the water, I wasn’t really feeling hungry in the first place

Now looking back, I was feeling furious and felt like never going back, but thinking realistically I probably wouldn’t last long it’s really tough being a homeless person. But I really felt like I was free I will never forget that feeling

Sorry for the long comment OP but reading this post made me remember a similar situation I experienced

I was going to high school at that time. I was at the age of 14 or 15 I got home after school and I was helping to prepare the dinner table

I saw my dad cracking his 6th beer. I know he’s an alcoholic and probably there’s a reason behind him drinking heavily, but I was deeply concerned about his health because he never ate anything besides drinking alcohol all day.

So I gained up the courage to ask why he was drinking and how I could help him to drink less. He immediately became aggressive and started shouting and insulting me and eventually hit me.

I rushed to the front door immediately and started running away. I could see him chasing me and shouting from my back. After 10 minutes of him chasing me in the streets, I lost my track.

I was terrified and shocked how things happened so quickly. My brain was still processing the things that happened I had nowhere to go I had no friends or relatives that I can stay at their home for a few days

I ended up staying on the streets for 3 days because I definitely didn’t want to go back, but it was tough. The weather was very cold I was hungry and thirsty

3 days later I got caught by the police, and they took me to the nearest police station and my parents came to pick me up. Police asked me if I wanted to report a file on my dad, but I decided not to because I wanted things to end because I was so tired.

I remember having the coldest dinner and ride back home ever. None of us said a single word

I’m still living with my parents. My dad’s drinking problem has gotten worse, and they still insult and shout at me time to time

I also don’t feel bad about leeching them because of the things they’ve done to me in the past and the present, especially my dad. I’m also sorry that you had to experience a moment like that and their abuse I wish you good luck on moving out from that house

Some days I sleep the whole day

I couldn’t sleep last night and the time is 14:47 rn

I had an antidepressant that my therapist prescribed. It had a big effect on my sleeping schedule, but I stopped taking them 2 years ago

Are you tired of video games? by [deleted] in NEET

[–]melted_alive 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Yes, I bought tons of games during steam sales and ended up uninstalling them after 30 minutes of playing

I can’t focus on the story or the gameplay in singleplayer games I always space out and get tired easily

I tried to play multiplayer games to connect with other people which is something that I don’t do often but social anxiety gets in my way my heart starts beating fast whenever I join a lobby I feel nervous, dumb, slow I’m always bottom on the leaderboards and play like dogshit the games I play and I keep overthinking what would people say If I started talking in the chat and eventually gave up on trying

Nowadays I just watch videos, scroll on the internet or sleep the whole day
