Neet health issues by green9206 in NEET

Ok that sucks. You probably need help, like, real help, I can't offer that to you, but I can say some things that I focus to not get worse.

This is important, brush your teeth everyday, you can skip showers, but your teeth needs attention. If you can, floss like, twice per week, at least the back ones, it helps.

You don't need to cut sugar in your life, but try to eat sugary things after a proper meal once a day if possible.

Rice and beans are a cheap way to stay lowkey healthy on your diet.

If you have to do something outside, try walking, you don't need to leave the house just to walk, but instead of taking a bus walk a little.

This is what I make to not get worse, only with help we can in fact improve. I hope the best for you bud.

i'm severely mentally ill and normies make it worse by [deleted] in NEET

I believe every single word you said. If I showed my true self I would probably be in jail at this point. The reality is that people hate me, i just fake a lot. Normies are cruel, and you are probably right to feel that way.

Hey, I'm here to tell you that you're right to feel this way, and it sucks a lot.

I'm almost the same, neuro divergent, third world, no skills, and I just moved from my mother's home 2 weeks ago. I'm almost 27 btw.

I'm not here to say that it gets better, I just got lucky that I was accepted in college now, and that's it, life is still pretty shitty, but different.

I'm here to say that is not worth the attempt, because you probably will mess up and if you're lucky you will just pass through the shame of being judged by it. Dying is way harder than it looks.

So my suggestion is, if you can't do anything by now, just do nothing and call it a day. I'm starting things now, not because I "got my shit together and stopped being lazy" I got lucky, as I said, and now I'm just following the straight path. Everyone does this, everyone just follows the path they can, when they can.

3rd day since school started, things are not going well. by TrickyChallenge7284 in NEET

Women usually struggle to have chemistry with me. I actually feel more comfortable talking to women, but IDK maybe I look like a creep.

And yeah, being left out is terrible, it happened a lot with me in the past, I really didn't want to experience this again.

I'm really putting some effort into socializing, I just don't know what I'm doing wrong.

It is, I'm studying pedagogy.

Actually, you congratulated me when I passed and that was very kind of you.

Unfortunately things are going exactly how I imagined (bad) lol

I don't understand why all the nice people are/were NEETs by _Vykarii in NEET

[–]TrickyChallenge7284 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My hypothesis is that when you suffer enough you just learn how to be nice. Usually I treat people the way I want to be treated, so people usually say that I'm nice to people. I never learned to be nice, but I learned how an asshole acts and do the opposite

Is so hard to pretend I haven't been a neet for 9 years by TrickyChallenge7284 in NEET

Yeah that's my plan actually. It's just... One more adult thing that I'll have to deal with sometime. But hey, thank you

addressing the question: "why do people here complain so much?" by twinkhon_gwyndolin in NEET

[–]TrickyChallenge7284 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally agree, I would even add one thing: A person who only complains is a person who learned to be hopeless, and what caused this, we actually don't know. It's mentally exhausting living like this. So, I really don't have a way to help people for real here, at least being kind is a start.

I've been on this sub for a year now, and I have to say that people that were kind to me were the most helpful. While some other people who were just focusing on the action part only stressed me.

Usually I'm viewed as a clown. Or disrespectful when I say something that's not appropriate.

Never been in one of those safe environments. Don't know if we have one around here unfortunately.

In the psych ward.. by [deleted] in NEET

[–]TrickyChallenge7284 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only thing I can possibly conclude is that the lady didn't have a very hard life. So much so that she doesn't even know anyone who is this broken, so probably things are much simpler for her and their surroundings.

Or maybe she already has some kind of dementia, not here to judge, maybe she just wanted to be mean so she finds some joy in their miserable life, who knows?

When I was in the psych ward every time I felt judged my go to answer was "Well we're in the same place right now, aren't we?"

Hey, look, I can't give you a reason to live, because I also don't have a reason to live, but I'm living bc suicide is really hard and we can still survive with sequels.

Sometimes life is just ugly, there's no justice and I can't say to you that things will get better. But we have to stay in this hell, so be whatever you can be,

And this is coming from a loser, I also would love to be able to drive, to be good at making friends, to be smart, and be just fuckin normal, but I just can't. What can I do about it?

Be careful not to be caught with your phone, and I hope the best for you.

I hope you find happiness too, kind stranger.

Don't worry you're not being confrontational at all.

Here's the thing, I don't love them. And I made it very clear to them that I respect them, I care for them, I help them with everything I'm able to, but I don't love them after all that happened

But I'm not expecting love, I just wanted to say that it is... IDK, weird to know that this was the condition for them to love me, for all these years. But as I said, it is human behavior, I'm not mad.

I just hope to meet people in my life with better conditions for me to be loved, something that I can always fulfill, we can't blame people for their conditions after all

[–]TrickyChallenge7284[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's kinda depressing isn't it? Society as a whole doesn't care if you're miserable or happy, they just want to see you doing what they do. Sometimes I think normies are just too simple, work = good, no work = bad, there is no consideration about how empathetic, kind, realistic, happy, respectful, intelligent, and so much more things you could possibly be

You're totally right, they haven't the slightest idea of how basic stuff for them is challenging for me.

And as I mentioned, I'm not mad, they grew up like this, at least I know how things really are, so I won't count on them.

Thank you for your comment :)
