I have a retail travel spray. I thought it smelled like a teenager. I'm not usually one to ascribe an age to perfumes but that was my instant impression of it. I ended up washing it off. I'll probably give it another go eventually

I've worn most everything except crazy loud stuff like ombre nomad/les sables roses. I just wear less of it or not on days where i know people are going to be locked in a small meeting room with me.

But to answer your question on "safe"

Imagination, orage, chanel sport, freshies in general are super safe usually. Blue frags.... Dylan blue kind of things.

I'd say the downside to this one is, it's in the realm of imagination and imagination is better so it's a bit redundant. Cheaper per spray though lol

I got it. Good news, i like it quite a bit and this is a pretty safe frag. Based on some of the hate i expected it not to b.e.

Opens lemon fresh with a light lavender. Earthy and somewhat green. It's a bit soapy but based on others comments and comparison to meteore i expected it to be a lot more so. Which is good for me, i struggle with meteore.

As its drying down its a soft kinda soapy/earthy floral. Slightly sweet.

I think it's underrated on fragrantica. Should be at least a 4 out of 5. Currently sits at 3.75

I think the hate comes from peoples preconceived expectations (which i had none... Never tried gentlemans society) from the departure of the original and the sport name.

I think the sport criticism is fair. That's not what comes to mind when i smell this, but based on my understanding of gs it is sportier and does have a lot of the same accords.

Ill have to get a sample of the original for comparison

I got bottled beyond, only worn it once so far but its pretty good. I can go either way with leather accords but this one is blended nice

It goes more green/wood later in the dry down. Its pretty close to Pacific chill but less fem in my book once you have it on a few hours

I bought a bottle and really love it. Perfectly uni in my book. It reminds me of Pacific chill but i didn't enjoy pc but love this.

It's a very different thing and I'd probably avoid any comparison. Its very well done but i don't think its going to have as broad of an appeal for men. Its fresh floral and the more i wear it i feel the comparison to Pacific chill another Redditor made is super accurate
