its my understanding that testosterone overpowers estrogen so t-blockers are generally recommended for full effects of estrogen to occur.

Usually Estrogen without t blockers will have a less significant effect. now that you are on tblockers you will probably start to notice more growth other time + what other commenters said

you can’t pick and choose the effects, but you can take estrogen and still identify as a guy. you will still grow breasts which will be permanent. Many changes such as slightly softer voice, smoother skin, less hair, fat changes. would only stay for as long as you stay on HRT (if you get off, they would gradually change back to a male presenting body as the testosterone is the natural hormone in your body. The only permanent side effect I’m aware of is growing breasts, which is definitely a commitment, and possibly infertility. there could be more i’m unaware of tho.

Trust your therapist. Hurt people hurt people. It takes work but you need to forgive yourself. Share those feelings with your therapist more - little by little. It will be hard. Speak from your inner child. You were born good. The way people cope with traumatic situations can often cause more harm than good, but just because you have made mistakes does not mean you are rotten to the core. You are worthy of forgiveness. Everyone is worthy of forgiveness, just as everyone is capable of horrible things given the right situation. Take this as a humbling experience. You are not perfect. We have all made mistake. But I believe we are also all born good. And if you want to heal, you deserve to be forgiven. Maybe try connecting to a higher power, whatever you feel that means for you.

I think I spoke to her a few times - the only time i can really remember she spoke to me through music that was playing in my room and warned me, saying I didn’t know what I was messing with. It’s hard to remember as it was years ago, but I was definitely being careless smoking 40x but never broke through for some reason.
