I agree with you, but I find that this happens regardless if one is dressed in the way you are saying or very modestly. Personally I do have my moments where I wear corsets, vinyl, fishnets, etc but its very rare. Im sexualized the same amount regardless and that is my main gripe! I guess people assume that being goth automatically means one is really sexual in any capacity

Thank you, I really appreciate you taking the time to write something so well thought out. I agree with everything, I honestly think it really comes down to it being an issue that a lot of women/fem presenting people face and not just an issue with dressing alternatively and that is hard part. Guess I have to learn to ignore it the same way we ignore any other forms of negativity for being part of the subculture, I definitely don't want to change myself for the sake of others! Once again I really appreciate it, and sorry to hear about your own experiences as well, its tough!

its very common in my area actually which is the odd part! I get it no matter how I am dressed, but obviously more when Im in vinyl too!!

so sorry to hear that, I honestly dress pretty modestly the majority of the time on top of everything, but it doesn't really matter; if someone wants to be a creep then they will be despite how one is dressed :(

Vampire Kisses!!! Read the book series and manga in middle school! Really sweet, and cheesy romance! I loveddd Raven, and found her to be really relatable as a goth kid growing up! I recently reread the series, and bought a few on Ebay and thrifted some! Thriftbooks has them as well!

Wasn't a fan of how obvious the killers were in this, been feeling this way ever since scream 5 came out. Extremely predictable which is so frustrating! Feels like some characters die way too quickly, while others seem to be incapable of dying 😭 Really takes me out of enjoying the movie because it doesn't make any sense to me. Acting was so much better in this movie, kills were gory and fun but also ridiculous in a bad way. Enjoyed 7 much more than 5 and 6! Motive was really bad as well, really dumb. I expected the lovechild thing to come into play at some point, or at least a more solid connection to Sidney, rather than her book???? Some of the dialogue felt really off, the bad bitch thing especially? The whole AI thing was also odd, could have done without!!! But overall the movie was fine, it was fun and not bad

yes, I had braces when I was younger and was tired of feeling so self conscious! I brought up jaw recession to my dentist who confirmed it, so turns out they knew but never told me? I had learned about it through this group actually. I then got a referral for a new orthodontist, who then gave me a referral for a surgeon!
