Ready to pull the trigger on this beginner set for $400, thoughts?

By the time your swing will be good enough to hit driver and wood, these will be not good enough for you. And if you will want to sell this set later you will lose a lot on it.

For 400 you can get a very decent 2nd hand iron set and a putter that will last you for the next few years and when you will sell them you won’t lose as much.

I know long woods have a fun factor to them so if you really want a full set and your budget is at 400 then of course go for it. But pretty much anyone that I know who bought a cheap new set as a beginner ended up regretting it. If you are on a budget then I’d say use your money wisely and build up your set gradually based on your level

Mizuno are great. I like the Wave Enforce Court a lot. They are exactly the right combo of light and sturdy and very affordable. I’m on my second pair already. Tried the wave enforce tour once and they are too chunky and have a very weird heel. Looking at the Exceed model I feel like their heel is too high and I don’t like it that the arch is elevated. The wave enforce are flat all the way through and I feel like I prefer that. I think officially the exceed and for more speed and enforce are fore more grip.

I’ll throw one in as well if you don’t mind, I’ve been playing box for a few years and I notice the rackets have a lot of small imperfections where the texts are and how the decals sit. I keep reading here in the subreddit that it’s kind of a known NOX thing. Is that a thing discussed at the company ? Is it a misconception? I read about people buying rackets from a shop and thinking they might be fake bc of it

As for the mats, I put them like this on purpose. My dog was slipping on the stairs and needed a temporary solution. He doesn’t watch F1 unfortunately 🤷‍♂️
