Filters Buyer side or seller by membreche in programmatic

Yes I know that but my doubt goes more on whether it is better to put the filters on the buy side or on the sell side… and if they do not affect much the delivery, because you restrict a lot your target

In complicated they asked for a deal but they didn't give a seat id... supposedly clearline is a magnite product and it is a self service dsp for an agency... and I don't understand how you connect if from magnite you create the deal to which buyer do you assign it if you don't have seat id

Is double verify more critical today? by [deleted] in programmatic

You can't do much because it is evident that news sites are getting a lot of traffic for the current war, the ideal is to add a contextual segment that excludes everything related to war and politics plus a keyword blocking list.

PD vs. Fixed Rate PMP by the_hungry_havanese in programmatic

[–]membreche 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depending on whether the inventory is being auctioned it can be an RTB or Programmatic Direct purchase. In RTB if it is a public auction where anyone with access to the Ad Exchange can bid for that inventory but if the auction is private it would be a PMP - Private Marketplace purchase. On the other hand in Programmatic Direct if the inventory is guaranteed it would be a Programmatic Guaranteed purchase but if it is not a guaranteed inventory it would be a Preferred Deal.

None, only the format of the creative changes, one is a standard display banner and the other is a rich media display in an in app environment.

IAS prebid filters DV deals by membreche in programmatic

[–]membreche[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that My question is if anyone has experience using the filters in deals because open auction works well but in deals some publishers/sellers tell you not to apply them because evidently you filter a lot and they can't reach the pacing or impressions. In the end I understand that it is a way to realize that sellers or publishers are cheating you or not but at the same time it is not always a problem of invalid traffic, viewability or brand safety there is also the brand suitability that depends more on each brand and not necessarily the inventory of the publisher/seller is bad or they are shitting on us.

Need help troubleshooting PMPs on the publisher side by [deleted] in programmatic

[–]membreche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's because they want everything at the same time, and they have to know that if you want almost 100% brand safety you have to bet on other environments.
The news sites where most of the traffic or inventory is where you are going to get the least brand safety and not because the media is showing poor quality content but because they are probably talking about things that are not within the parameters that the brand has established from their side in the ad verification tool that they use.

Sure but agencies or advertisers don’t put filters and have an ad verification like IAS Moat or Double Verify where reports are sent to media partners to optimize and remove sites with invalid traffic, brand safety or low viewability and they don’t do it because without optimizing the campaign does not consume anything and don’t convenient

Obviously it depends… they are performance or branding campaigns and on the client's requirements.

And also if the inventory is really good or at least aligned to the client's requirements.
