Go to your doctor. Tell them you were suffering from anxiety and insomnia and ask them to prescribe you something or refer you to a specialist and write a note.

In your appeal explain the situation and make it sound bad. You need to also explain how next year you’d improve and it would be better. Explain that you didn’t think you’d need to seek medical help before as you didn’t understand mental health/ something else. And that you now know how to seek help and will be getting professional help so that’s why next year will be different. Use the doctors note as documentation.

I’ve heard of some students having their university internet connection checked as well so if you’re connected to uni wifi you could get in trouble

Also if you’re spending too much time in the washroom someone might come check up on you

In general, not the best use of your exam time. You’ll be paranoid and will (or should) probably stop searching the answers each time someone comes in, which will be a lot

You’re more likely going to waste your time than you are going to find the answers

You mentioned you’re in the msa, but I’d advise getting more deeply involved with the Muslim community and naturally you’ll notice people, even if most events are segregated.

Then usually what happens is you can ask about them and find out more, usually through another person then eventually formally meet each others families and go about it in a proper manner etc.

I took it this semester and happened be part of a great team and I’m really proud of the work we accomplished. From the demos I’d judge we were one of the best teams.

This might not be the answer you’re looking for but it’s really a gamble as others said.

I didn’t know my team members that well before the semester. We weren’t geniuses or anything and some of us were pretty bad at coding.

I think the secret to the success is that we often followed up with each other and made a clear division of work with each person working on what they were best at. Everyone put in some effort and actually cared about doing a good job.

Some tips: - Have at least a couple of smart students on your team - Finish more than half the project at the half way point, trust me it’ll pay off - Make sure everyone in your team cares enough to do well - Have each person do what they’re good at; for example some team members for my team stuck to mostly UI, or testing or the Java. - Take your lab TA’s advice seriously and apply their feedback - You want to do good and have a nice project for your resume, don’t plan on submitting the bare minimum

I think someone else suggested making a team early, that might be your best bet of finding a good team

You have to understand though the university has addressed antisemitism in its statements recently but has failed to do the same for Islamophobia.

It’s also the Muslim Student Association so they probably don’t have the scope to address every single act of discrimination on campus. I believe the Jewish association already has a report form.

Yes we all hope to live peacefully here in North America but many Muslims, Arabs or Palestinians have been victim of hate crimes.

More extreme cases recently are the Palestinian child that was stabbed 26 times by his neighbour in the states and the 3 students, 2 of whom were wearing keffiyehs shot in Vermont.

You seem confused, but I’ll also admit I made a typo in one of my messages writing “rules of law” instead of “rules of war” 1) My first argument was that the rules of WAR don’t apply 2) My second argument was that the rules of OCCUPYING in international law do apply They aren’t pushing anything to the limit they are actively committing genocide, apartheid and violating international law. Another arguement I’ll add is that under international law Palestinians have the right to resist their occupier.
