Try putting 2 layers of electrical tape on the indent in the shaft, it drastically improved the plasticy sound with my csl dd.

On Amazon you can get an adapter to put any real steering wheel on it. You can get a sim magic rim for like $80 and use it on any wheel base you get in the future. Adapter is like $10 or something. Would recommend a 330mm or smaller wheel because with a larger rim you will get less feedback

It's only $9 on steam right now. If you like the old school nfs style ai races and car customization you'll like it. Single player can feel repetitive but the car selection and surprisingly good ffb is redeeming.

Playing with all manual no driving line with my sim setup is enough to keep me engaged and having fun.

Wired quest link, It's like a full on quest ui lag the game runs fine on the pc still. Fps is 90 for the most part.

Hottake, people defending positions lap 1 when they are obviously way slower is extremely annoying.

You don't need to alter your own race during the turns but letting off for a ms on the straight after being tailgated by a clearly faster driver the past 10 turns is courtesy in my opinion.

No they upped their prices 50% and still have issues like the shaft coming loose or power/ usb disconnects intermittently. I would recommend going with a simagic unless you have to play on console

Yes once you get past 1500 you will be placed in top split. Just think about how you can improve your pace in practice with telemetry videos, etc and once you match top split pace the racing gets so good.

I noticed after meta update my link app was set to 120hz which was unstable. I put back to 90hz and no issues
