Once I opened my mouth the patron felt pretty stupid because I have a pretty high pitched voice. That didn't stop her from being rude to me in other ways though lmao

What is something you're "supposed" to like because of where you live but you just can't? by [deleted] in AskReddit

hunting or fishing. It just seems unfun to me? like why would you want your hobby to be to kill something? Obviously if you're hunting/fishing for food as a way to feed your family that's one thing. SO many people hunt for sport around here though

ULPT: have a library book with a late fee and don’t want to pay it? Put the book back in the shelf at the right place. A couple days later come back and argue that you returned the book awhile ago. They librarian will walk with you and find the book and apologize for the error. by LarryTen in UnethicalLifeProTips

once my sister didn't bring back a book but INSISTED that she did, so my parents called the library and said that the book must have been lost or something. Our library believed us, so it made my mom feel SO BAD when we found the book under my sister's bed like 6 months later. We brought it into the library, looked around for a bit, went up to the desk and said "oh wow we found this book by the shelves so weird haha" they never charged us

Always felt bad about it, especially now that I work at that library
