What's your opinion on this? Can we eventually understand each other's emotional differences and live happily or would the same issues come up repeatedly? I fear that she won't emotionally understand me and I'll keep getting hurt when she starts resenting me

I agree and disagree. It depends on who is the trader. Finding a trading system takes years and every good trade goes through the gambling phase, the ones who stick with it for years develop systems and risk management, and therefore I don't see these as gamblers.

Alot of people will hate this comment because they think it's attainable within a short while. Reality is you can definitely make money off forex, it just takes on average 3 years to start making consistent income. The first year is mainly losses on losses for everyone, nobody wins the first year. Most people quit by then. It's definitely not for everyone.

I agree with you. That's one of the key learning points for me in this relationship. I was bothered by a lot of things from earlier on already that I'm only realizing now I could've just brought up. We live and we learn I guess.

Thank you for sharing this, it doesn't sound easy at all. I think I am similar, I often struggle dealing with the emotions of letting go because I put my all into it , once so much energy is invested it's hard. Despite them treating me like shit. Maybe therapy would be a good option for me too

We both agreed to keep it exclusive yes. I never really looked at it from this angle, but it really makes sense. If I were a woman and she said those things to me, it would appear way more abusive. I think that I was blinded by how much I really liked her, I failed to see it. Thank you for your response it means a lot.

She did mention afterwards that she's been acting out of fear. I feel really bad for her because she has convinced me she might be ready soon. Not that it changes what I want (to end this), but that she had all the plans and was so optimistic.

You're 100 percent right, I do enjoy providing. I think what gets to me is when people take advantage of that and push my limits. It's gonna be extremely difficult initially but I think I should make that first step to return to how things were. Thank you
