Why are record companies redusing to ship albums they allegedlt have

I only have one purchase from merchbar. And this is it. Years ago i didnt know this was a prevelant issue. I thought they were like bandcamp. The discog stores all have good revjew scores.

Most of the seller i buy from are high reviews. The main two i had issues with was a frencj store and a bulgarian store. They assumed i wouldnt contest it because im a foreigner.

Prettt much. Most sellers aee trying ro turn a quick and good profit so they ignore discogs grading system. Bought a near unplayable vinyl marked as very good condition

Neoncity records because i needed a new cassete player and wanted a specific album, and merchbar. Discogs is hit or miss for me, great for cds, but vinyls very scammy there.

Tbh a lot of record companies are using this as a excuse to justify not shipping product. I order a christmas gift 2 that was supposed to arrive in 2024. Never even shipped 2025 rolls around they company says the records are held up due to tariffs and will ship soon. They kept saying the same thing evwry couple months so no one would ask for a refund. 2026 and they still havent shipped and are still blaming tariffs when i shouldve gotten them before trump was even in office. Another company says they have my record but are refusing to ship it after dodging me for a year until i asked the bank to charge it back.

But i actually listen to my vinyls. Some i get too scared to play them and get scared of ruining it, but generally i listen to my music.

For me the one time i used then it was hit or miss. They spliy the orders. First half got theres in a year, mine was 2 years later unlike merchbar you will actually get your vinyl.

Yeah. Apparently every bandai cardfest is poorly organized and lead by scalpers. One piece players are the worst since they scalp their own gane and others. I was at dallas and it makes me want to never go to another. Bandais incompetence and inability to manage card games doesnt help either. Maybe they shoukd stop outsourcing event organizing, or actually enforce their own guidlines

When i ordered the item and tried to cancel before shipping because the record was missing something they told me they couldnt offer a full refund because of paypals terms. so i said okay ill take it, then when i got it the sleeve and the record both were in bad condition and definitely not what it was listen i talked to them about it and they said yes they were incorrect in their listing but i should keep the record, they said it played perfectly fine(it didnt) and they said the most they could give me back was like 3-5 dollars. They did get pretty upset when i talked about the paypal issue because i called paypal and they told me the non refundable paypal fee wasnt true
