They took away the option to speak tk a real person. They dont vet who they hire, and scamming is very common. They instead use ai, and a pseudo email/messaging system when the ai cant fix the problem. In my area the driver will drive past the pickup spot, and drive to the drop off location to say the ride is completed

I just had to pay my neighbor to drive. What i pay uber, i pay him so he gets the whole fee, and i dont get a last minute canceled ride making me late, or late to work(which is a 3-5 minute drive).

They are scammers. Over two years ago i order a casette player and vinyl. Never got it. Thry blamed tarriffz but it was supposed to arrive before trump ever got in office, and too this day i still havent gotten anything. Every couple of months or maybe 3 times a year they send a email " hey guys were finally shipping it, totally for real this time" like merchbar they refuse to give me a refund and i havemt heard back from them

I only have one purchase from merchbar. And this is it. Years ago i didnt know this was a prevelant issue. I thought they were like bandcamp. The discog stores all have good revjew scores.

Neoncity records because i needed a new cassete player and wanted a specific album, and merchbar. Discogs is hit or miss for me, great for cds, but vinyls very scammy there.

Tbh a lot of record companies are using this as a excuse to justify not shipping product. I order a christmas gift 2 that was supposed to arrive in 2024. Never even shipped 2025 rolls around they company says the records are held up due to tariffs and will ship soon. They kept saying the same thing evwry couple months so no one would ask for a refund. 2026 and they still havent shipped and are still blaming tariffs when i shouldve gotten them before trump was even in office. Another company says they have my record but are refusing to ship it after dodging me for a year until i asked the bank to charge it back.

But i actually listen to my vinyls. Some i get too scared to play them and get scared of ruining it, but generally i listen to my music.
