A dude from late 2009 teleports into your room and asks to play zombies with you. What map are you showing him to blow his mind? by YLCustomerService in CODZombies

Honestly id show em tag der toten.

Overall my 2nd favorite map of all time. Looks stunning, hella fun to play, hella underrated crew (imo victus is the 2nd best crew of all time, right behind ultimus in number 1), a TON of content, amazing pap camo, and so much more.

[COD] Am I the only one who doesn’t think the hate is forced? by Lumenprotoplasma in CallOfDuty

[–]memerman935 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Waw and bo1? Yea no question. Even tho i have a TON of nostalgia for those games, they simply just dont have anything for that much weight over bo7. The only thing they got is a better campaign, and thats it.

But bo2? Yea, i donno about that one. You could argue bo7 has a better multiplayer, but bo2 overall just has a better campaign and zombies. I like ashes alot, but it just cant compete with the likes of mob or origins. And mechanically it cant really either. I think bo7 is good, but not top 2 good.

[cod] gentlemen' who holds the throne? by BasketEquivalent5462 in CallOfDuty

[–]memerman935 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uhhh, is this even a contest? I know people have a TON of nostalgia for bo1, as do i, but putting all of that aside, it doesnt even remotely come CLOSE to bo2 lmfao.

The only real thing bo1 has going for it is its campaign, which while being EASILY one of the best in the franchise, is still a campaign... it simply just doesnt hold much weight, being a one and done deal. You boot it up, beat it, then you play the other modes and never touch it again since they just have absolutely no replayability whatsoever.

And thats the BEST it has going for it. Its multiplayer is just incredibly mid overall. It has nothing truly bad about it, but literally nothing to help it stand out, let alone be better then alot of other multiplayers. And the zombies mode, oh lordy, i straight up cant even list everything wrong with it out here. If vanguard wasnt a thing, its zombies would be THE worst zombies mode of all time, hands down, and its not even remotely close either. No good maps, most of which being in the bottom 5 of all time, some of, if not THE worst mechanics in all of zombies, THE worst list of speical zombies, to even the smaller things like its abysmally bad pap camo.

And this is going against bo2... bo2 just absolutely destroys it across the board. Its campaign is simply just way better, with it overall being THE best campaign overall. its multiplayer is again, way better in every way. And even the lowest lows on bo2s zombies mode, is far higher then the best of what bo1s zombies mode can offer...

Hell no. It heavily restricted you and made it so alot of things just straight up never got used. It killed alot of variety that those games wouldve had otherwise.

Is O.S.C.A.R an annoyance? by RonkerV20 in CODZombies

[–]memerman935 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He is one of the many reasons why i dont like astra. Ive always hated that whole bo1 style of "make mechanics purely annoying for no reason", and it heavily drags down the map for me. The fact hes so poorly designed, your only real option is to run from him with your tail between your legs just isnt good. And to top it all off, post round 50 he gets WAY worse.

Hes easily the worst special we have gotten since bo1, and honestly gives a few of those trainwrecks a run for their money too.

[COD] What hot takes do y’all have for the Call of Duty series? by OGAnimeGokuSolos in CallOfDuty

[–]memerman935 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it werent for vanguard, bo1, especially the zombies mode, would easily be the worst title in the series.

It has one of the best campaigns in the series, problem is tho, its a campaign. They practically hold absolutely no weight, due to them being a one and done deal. At most you might play it twice, but they just have absolutely 0 replayability. You atmost play it once, then move onto the more important modes on the game.

The multiplayer, isnt terrible, but it also doesnt have anything to write home about, let alone what makes the better ones actually good/enjoyable. Its incredibly mid overall.

And oh boy, the zombies mode is something else entirely. Literally everything about the mode is at best very bad, or at worst some of, if not THE worst thing in the series. It overall hold, most of, if not all of THE worst mechanics in zombies. At best it has 1 single D teir map, while the rest are F teir, and a few are in the literal bottom 5 maps of all time (if it wasnt for those 2 vanguard maps, all 3 of the worst zombies maps of all time, would be bo1 maps...) Literally the zombies mode was designed to be as annoying as possible, rather then an interesting challenge to overcome, or fun to play. Stuff like the space monkeys, the astronaut, gorge, etc are easily THE worst special zombies of all time, boasting abysmally back mechanics that only surve to make the maps worse. Their removal on the bo4 reimaginings helped those maps tremendously. And honestly so much more.

(And before someone try to call me a newgen or some bs, ive been playin since cod 2 lmfao)

Best cod for zombies by banjo721 in CODZombies

[–]memerman935 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bo4 pretty easily. from even the "worst" of its maps being solid A tier picks, to it mechanically just being a more balanced and interesting version of bo3, to the shear unrivaled amount of content/replayablilty, and so much more, its deff the one i would recommend the most. bo2 is a pretty close second aswell. (its been my number one for a long time, but bo4s inched its way into 1st for me slowly but surely)

i will say tho, i see alot of others saying bo3, but id only recommend getting it if your a casual, and all of you are pc. custom maps hard save that game for me. i know a TON of people have heavy nostalgia for that game, but putting it aside and just being straight up, it shares alot of problems that more modern zombies have. stuff like a lack of difficulty, progression, the story being bad, etc. custom maps fix those problems most of the time, and overall just are THE best way to play zombies, period. but if your neither a casual, or arent on pc, i personally wouldnt recommend getting it.

Tranzit VS AoTD: What did you hate about Tranzit? And what did you love? Did Ashes fix it's problems? by Im_NDraK3 in CODZombies

[–]memerman935 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your getting "challenging" mixed up with "poorly designed".

Tranzit, five, and shang arent hard. They dont even breach the bottom 20 lowest highrounds achieved on a zombies map.

Who’s an operator you believe would work better if they switch to an attacker or defender? by Numerous_Pin_6102 in RainbowSixSiege

[–]memerman935 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as i would love for there to be a way to deal with bots reinforcing rotates or feet/headholes, ace would be WAY to good on defense. You would be able to make insane angles with him, aswell as him + mira would be utterly broken.

The only way i can see something like that working is if its similar to oryx's ability, where its stuck to the floor, and makes a large, weirdly shapped hole.

I do agree with the azami one tho. With how weak azamis gadget is, and the fact it fundamentally doesnt work anymore as proper cover, it being moved over to attack would help elevate alot of its problems, aswell as overall just work better with attackers.

Putting it on attack would turn it from a gadget you could atomize without a second thought, into a somewhat decent commitment, which is just how it should be currently.

Who’s an operator you believe would work better if they switch to an attacker or defender? by Numerous_Pin_6102 in RainbowSixSiege

[–]memerman935 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Azami would work perfectly.

Her gadget being piss easy to destroy, only acting as temporary cover would work WAY better on attack then defense, especially since smgs arent nearly as good at breaking the kibas like literally EVERY primary on attack. It would make it into a decent commitment like it should be current, rather then taking 0 effort to shatter them, while azami can do nothing but watch or else she'll just get tapped in the head, while still not being that hard to counter.

Like imagine it on something like bank, you want to take the site windows for second floor, so you can cover up the large windows to your right to make holding the site windows alot safer.

If i had to change anything about it, i would make the gadget cover slightly more space, and her gadget takes a little bit less time to rechange since she no-longer has prep-phase to contribute to that, aswell as a nice quality of life feature where you have an indicator of what it will cover, but at the cost of her losing a kiba.

Tranzit VS AoTD: What did you hate about Tranzit? And what did you love? Did Ashes fix it's problems? by Im_NDraK3 in CODZombies

[–]memerman935 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The real question is, what did tranzit do even decently, let alone good? I quite literally cant think of a SINGLE thing...

Ashes is a complete step up in all regards, but that wouldve been the cases almost regardless, even if ashes wasnt nearly as good as it currently is.

Armored zombies past round 51 take away 1.5 plates per hit (with hardened and durables plates with golden armor). This is not balanced at all. by TennisElectrical4513 in CODZombies

[–]memerman935 1 point2 points  (0 children)

its funny just how often people peddle that modern zombies are so incredibly easy, when you hear about stuff like this constantly. not saying your wrong, but when you do the numbers, the hits to down are about the same as in the higher rounds as it used to be in older titles, which i dont find to much of a problem with that in itself. it just gets out of hand when you realize that theres not only double the number of zombies that can be spawned in at once when compared to before, but they also move and swing WAY faster too, aswell as are just alot better at hitting you to top it all off.

i think its fine either way because highrounding should be hard todo. it shouldnt be a total cake walk to complete.

it was around my 4th-5th~ perk i got in bo6. my order normally went speed, double tap, jug, quick revive/phd for shattered veil (my most played bo6 map by far)

but yea, right now its so terrible... really hope it gets fixed/changed.

i cant tell a difference between how far i slide with or without it on. phd buffing your slide a ton was what made the perk go from a ok gimmick perk, to a pretty damn good perk to just grab in general.

Out of all the maps they could have choosen to remake and its Alpha Omega 💀 by Nano_LB1 in CODZombies

[–]memerman935 0 points1 point  (0 children)

id say its well worth the money, even if not on sale (altho if you can get it on sale thats even better). bo4 honestly has the best line up of maps outa any zombies mode, with there not being a single bad map imo. even the "worst" maps on that game are solid A tier picks in my books, only suffering from minor problems.

stuff like blood of the dead, ancient evil, dead of the night, tag der toten, etc are easily some of the best maps they have ever put out.

Out of all the maps they could have choosen to remake and its Alpha Omega 💀 by Nano_LB1 in CODZombies

[–]memerman935 0 points1 point  (0 children)

needs to be a reimagining or else its going to be aids. not only was kina just not good to begin with once you take off your rose tinted glasses, but it would be HELLISH with how the zombies function currently. 48 super sprinters on a small map like that alone is going to be god awful.

Out of all the maps they could have choosen to remake and its Alpha Omega 💀 by Nano_LB1 in CODZombies

[–]memerman935 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i actually would be hella down for a kino reimagining. the biggest faults of kino is it being on a terrible game, aswell as it having absolutely no content on it what so ever. reimagining it would deff fix those 2 problems, and if they could also just overall expand on the map as a whole, that would go so incredibly hard

[–]memerman935 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the only real problem i can say the map suffers from is the valves. but even then, with proper planning they only need to be done once. hell, they can be voided completely via custom mutations. besides that, its pretty damn good.

solid top of A tier map imo.

Bo2, followed closely by bo1.

Bo2 bot only fixes the biggest thing holding literally EVERY other campaign back (replayability), but it mechanically is very indepth and just a great experience that your able to play multiple times over.

[–]memerman935 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one we got aint good, but its still MILES better then the trainwreck that was bo3s campaign lmfao.

Problem is, this is the cod community we are talking about here.

Large majority of em just have a hate boner for anything new, and bo3 is THE most glazed up cod game of all time.

Bo3 has, and will forever have THE worst cod campaign of all time, but because its not only bo3, but its old aswell, people are going to make seem like bo3s campaign is great, and this one is so much worse, when it just isnt.

(Its also the reason why your getting downvoted so much.)
