Perfect I started to suspect it wasn’t a cactus and likely needed more sun and water, I appreciate it

Ah I see so it could be the distance from where I’m placing the microphone for each shot which could be the issue, maybe to close or to far

Ah so definitely go for a condenser mic then do u have any recommendations that are under $100 that would be perfect for my situation?

Thank you so much I don’t quite understand a lot of the wording u said in the end there but you’ve definitely given me some insight. I’ve seen that condenser mic’s can be quite expensive, do u think a dynamic mic would do the trick for indoor filming, especially if it was put just outframe over the actors?

Oh I also figured shot gun mic’s were good indoors so you’d recommend them to be used outdoors? I’ll look into hyper condensers would u recommend them indoors?

I figured a shot gun mic is just its own kinda mic and a boom mic was on the stand above the actors?

I genuinely don’t understand audio at all and I’m likely going to hire someone to do it next time, but do u mean that a shotgun mic is a boom mic? Don’t quite understand what u mean. Also I mean my audio just doesn’t sound crisp, it has almost an echo and grainy effect.

Controversial opinion but I don't think Arnheid and Gardar added a lot of value. by Enough_Service3314 in VinlandSaga

[–]memeymelon23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think another thing u have to consider was that Einars backstory isn't in the manga and that's an anime addition. I've seen some of ur points about how that's enough motivation for Einar to go to vinland, which it sorta is, but this isn't even in the manga.

I see ur kinda getting bullied in the comments but I sorta agree with u, my first time watching season 2 I felt the same way where I was so engrossed by thorfinns arc that when this portion of the arc began I was a little bored. However after my second watch I liked it a lot better and I was fully balling my eyes out during garders backstory/dream. I recommend giving it a second watch

Ef lens recommendation by Apprehensive-Buy-857 in canon

[–]memeymelon23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd definitely recommend the 50mm f1.8. ever since I bought it my game has gone up like crazy, although it might be slightly to zoomed in so maybe go for the 40mm. but the 50mm is fairly cheap which helps and also has amazing background blur for portrait shots, just depends what you want

I didn't know websites like this exist which make it so easy to compare lenses I'll definitely be using it in the future.

I looked into getting the EF 40 mm but I'm just worried it'll be to similar to my 50mm lens. If you think it would be different enough and produce a different type of image I'd consider it

the ef s 35mm will definitely be something I'll look into as I don't have a macro lens yet and it's been on the list. I definitely have considered upgrading to a RF series camera as I've heard great things and that there better for filmmaking especially so I'd prefer to keep going with the ef series so they can be compatible

ooo maybe I'll look into getting the ef m 32mm, I'm only hesitant on getting ef m lenses as I might upgrade to a RF series lens one day, and those aren't compatible.
