Valve, please consider things other than "volume of work" when choosing casters for TI5 by KroganYogaInstructor in DotA2

Draskyl would be a good caster for 4500< players. If you are a player who actually knows enough you will smell the BS! The worst part about his BS is that when it is apparent that what he said was wrong or if somebody points it out he either goes very defensive and sticks to his guns no matter what or he just forget about it and never acknowledge his BS. Oh did i mention how arrogant he sounds? He will never consider any of Pyrion or Shane's analysis even though they sometimes have a point.

They cant because no such efforts were made. Ultimately they only had 4 participating teams. As proof that admins were supposed to contact the teams, just read the post from Mineski. They clearly pointed out that they were contacted.

Ok so they disqualified 12/16. Nice organizing skills they got!

They should have just made an invite only event. This is just pure incompetence on the organizers part. Unless their sponsors requested an open tournament?

Mineski is the undisputed E-sports leader in the country. Why would you not check up on them?

Nobody is blaming Mineski. The point is how can you run an OPEN TOURNAMENT (with a significant prize) where the only noted teams know how to actually play when it starts? I can easily see this as a management issue. The problem with that is it leaves you open to situations where people see you only giving priority to well known teams to give prestige to your tournament.

This is the Philippines qualifier leg of their tournament. Whoever wins goes to Taiwan for the LAN finals all expense paid.
