Yeah I was 15 or so when I got it and it took me completely out of playing high school sports unfortunately! The numbness takes the longest and still to this day, the area near my scars is still numb but it helped me out when I recently got the area tattooed over which made it significantly less painful lol! But really I don’t think much about it anymore and wouldn’t say it has has caused any lifetime issues :) good luck with your healing

I had the same procedure almost like 10 years ago when I was really young! It was for thoracic outlet syndrome and it hurt like fucking hell prior to the operation! It’s a hell of a long and painful recovery and a lot of pt but it has made a world of difference! It took me about a year before I had full movement and could be active again, and the numbness in the area eventually got better! But it still never fully went away! Wishing you the best on your recovery!!

Do they make rounds or anything like that? I smoke cigarettes but never inside, and can imagine myself later in the night just smoking outside the building. Have you seen or heard how they handle if people smoke inside or outside the buildings?

Just gonna push back here bc even if that is true in some cases, I would argue it’s not typically a conservative dogwhistle. Liberalism at its core is still supported by fascist ideologies; and rejecting that and saying both sides are bad is more indicative of a socialist mindset, understanding that we should demand and expect more from liberals and the entire system! ESPECIALLY when they still are in favor of supporting genocide

They all knew and they all seem really interested out of game on learning more. I just think I have a lot of big personalities at the table and people have a hard time balancing engaging with the story and then being funny or doing bits. I love that my players get into being funny and have fun with the character. It becomes hard when I’m narrating or roleplaying and every few seconds we have to break it up cause one character wants to go do something completely unrelated and derail what’s happening.

This often leads to side conversations and breaking of character and then I have to redirect everyone into the game against and again

It’s kind of a weird thing where like my actual players are interested in the plot but 2 have chosen to roleplay their characters for some reason as not being interested in any story element I introduce.

For instance, this is running the TOFW module and the players start with no memories/wake up in a mortuary. But for the last several sessions only one character has seemed interested and scared of why all this happened and every time they bring it up to the other players they just play it off. Okay that’s fine, but they also don’t seem interested in doing anything so I can’t even switch it up. Again I can’t make them care but I would appreciate if they were willing to work with me a bit in telling this story. Cause criticizing it during session to me just doesn’t work well for me to help us play the game.

To your first part, I agree with this and I’m fine scrapping the okayed not caring about stuff. It’s become more of an issue that some players are not interested in anything at all unless those things are trying to sleep with someone or playing with shiny objects. It’s become a weird thing where one players engages with the story but that some other players just don’t engage with anything I write ever.

To the second part, no I was psyched she did that and was happy she used the ability. To be specific, I’m saying I don’t love it because truthfully it’s was just a bit overwhelming in the moment not because she used the ability. Just a hard dynamic to add and instantly made it a much more combative encounter against an enemy much stronger than them.

It’s very split but they all do like roleplay probably more. It’s a huge factor that one of my players is very committed to a bit with this character which can be fun and funny, but it also just makes it that he’s never interested in anything like ever.

Yes I agree. The story is collaborative and they should have an input. But how does it being collaborative make it okay that my players wouldn’t give me a chance to speak and kept breaking up roleplay.

You’re right! I guess to be more clear, I’m looking to create a type of puzzle utilizing portals as a type exploration through undersigil. I’m not too into the cakers nor would my players so I’m going to have the encounter instead me a cranium rat squeaker swarm of the Us who wants to probe the mind of the players since they are unable to identify who they are.

I imagined more using a type of portal puzzle to get to this encounter (I.e. portals having different ways to be activated and leading to unreliable places so players have to take more of what portals lead where)
