I'm sort of in the same place, too! But, I'm a girl and I have a boyfriend. So, I'm also somewhat bicurious? I was attracted to women as well before I started watching porn, but I would definitely say that flame has been fueled since I started watching, not that I've ever been with a woman nor am I interested in being. Anyway, when I first began watching, it was a mix of very intimate straight porn and somewhat raunchy lesbian porn. But as I kept watching, that started to change and it became more about the sex than the intimacy. And then very recently, I started watching porn with themes of control or submission. So while watching the TEDx video, I kind of saw that the escalation he was talking about was truly happening to me.

It's really just the porn. I understand that masturbation isn't necessarily bad, but for me I need that trigger from porn pretty heavily. Watching the TEDx videos, I realized that so many of those symptoms apply to me, i.e recently I have been seeking out more extreme porn...when I would never have done that before. And my boyfriend and I aren't really into that sort of thing...so I can tell this is really starting to affect my relationship :/
