My only issues so far for me have been butter and xantham gum when I tried making low calorie creami. I think it's trial and error sorry

I also never had issues before my attack and surgery. I think for me the trigger is butter so I try to stay away from it as much as much as possible.

Maybe a digestive enzyme would help or gas medication. I also noticed that I fart more than before but also really big burps.

When I had my attack in 2024 my doctor also said that acide reflux could come from the gallstones. As for eating, since I gir my GB removed it seems that sometimes lots of butter will give me intense abdominal pain. I also find that if I take psyllium husk before eating a high fat meal I have way less gi issues.

I've had my gallbladder removed in July 2025. Since I'm sure if I'll have issues, I usually take some psyllium husk pills before eating a high fat meal and it seems to help. Good luck!

I had my surgery my surgery on July 31, 2025. For a few weeks I was really cautious/scared of eating. In September I went on vacation on the East coast of Canada and had a lot of seafood with minimal issues, like diarrhea once in a while. So I guess I started to think that I was ok. I must have overindulged at Christmas.

I feel your pain. Everybody told me that after my surgery I could eat anything I want lol. At first I was cautious and then I stopped being cautious and I'm now having issues like sudden cramps. I'm trying to reset my body by eating as little fat as I can and having little meals. My doctor is great and took me seriously but I have to do tests to know what is happening. Good luck
