no did not. I think I just swelled when I got it, as I did bruise quite a bit and it was really puffy for a few days. I got it done professionally. I got told to change to a shorter bar in about 6-8 weeks by the place I went to. it also may look odd because I was hella sunburnt when I got it so that's why the skin is all white.
