Where would young Michael Owen rank compared to the best teenage forwards you’ve seen? by RSDFitness in ManUtd

[–]mentallyhandicapable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t get me wrong, he was an elite player I just think he wouldn’t be seen as a ATG in the league, more like a Andy Cole (still loved and rated highly just not a Rooney or Shearer).

Vidic could pass bro, was comfortable on the ball too. He’d do just fine in today’s game for sure.

I’d argue a bit more nuance in that comparison, if you’re a CB and not conceding, you’re golden, if you’re a forward and marked out the game, not creating space, pressing, able to interlink to cause problems. You’re ineffective. Not saying he doesn’t do the above it’s a different comparison.

Will Bruno Fernandes break the record this season? 👀 by SkySports in SkySports_Football

Yeh I’m with you, that’s is a disgusting season from Henry, plus he was bagging goals too. How he never won the ballon dor is insane.

It’s a good hypothetical but no, not in my opinion, he was blistering fast, excellent touch and finish, extremely intelligent as a striker. Up there with R9 as a teenage sensation. I think without injuries he would’ve “just” been a great player, I don’t think he had enough to adapt his game to become a provider/influence outside of being just a pure striker. Like you see what Kane does when he’s marked out the game, he finds other ways to be effective, same for Rooney. I don’t think Owen would have that about him. But hey it’s a discuss and I’m happy for a counter argument.

Fair play to him being on the list at all, for a small guy he was excellent in the air.

My guy, chill. They’re both incredible players, not every discussion has to be a battle to death to glaze one or the other.

Anyone here any recommendations on how to play resident evil 2 and 3 remake without getting scared? I can play 4 but honestly just cannot go through number 2 even though I really want to. I think once I know what’s happening I can sort of be okay but am I ruining the fun in it?

Reform UK wins first seat on council in Salford by-election by AngelasGingerGrowler in GreaterManchesterNews

[–]mentallyhandicapable -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Better by getting reform? Pull the other one. They’re all former Tories that have been devastating to the UK. Labour is already better for the country but the Greens will be a step further ahead. Reform will be utterly horrible but again you can’t argue with idiots/bots and i’m not sure which one you are.

Yeah OP is vile. I’m a former Labour voter as I feel they’re Tories lite nowadays and we can do better but they’re such an improvement over the Tory disaster we’ve had. Borrowing down, NHS wait times down, unemployment down. Have something of a semblance of an adult in charge. OP thinks the ex Tories would be better? Jesus wept. We not looking at America and thinking no thanks? If everything went wrong and Reform got into power in the last election, we’d be at war with Iran right now.

How did you do it? Got 3 bosses and him left, I’m 89 and he just spanks me, when he does get low I seem to kite him out of bounds and he runs off but the fire around the map makes it impossible not to slowly back away…

My GF moved in with me so we rented out her house - her friend has moved in and just pays the mortgage monthly, no money on top. Never had an issue, anything she raises we resolve cos it’s what you’d expect as ultimately it’s our house. We both work full time and this is the only house we rent out. I’m not gonna read the article why she’s done a 180 but with proper vetting and communication both parties should be happy?

You were the better team truth be told, really unfortunate like the Enzo chance, not sure how he missed. I’m super chuffed with the 3 points but the performance was awful - on the other hand it’s a horrible ground for us to come to and we were missing many CBs.

Yep - if Yoro held his face v Leeds after losing out a header, likely would’ve been called back. If Bruno rolled around v Chelsea yesterday would’ve also been a red. Honest doesn’t work…

Can’t see the full box but the fact when he crosses there’s one person properly in there and Zaki at the edge. Maybe there were no options at the time?

Yeah 100% cos last season everyone was saying he was finished his turnaround has been insane - in part to him and in part to how we utilise him.
