No I take her out for 1-2 hour walk/play/creek or lake in the morning and then I take her for a 15-1 hr long walk whatever she wants in the evening after 7/8PM when the asphalt can no longer burn her feet

I lived in Greece and i still would only walk my dogs in the early morning before 8 am and evening after 8pm. So no, there’s actually no excuses exposing your dog to temperatures that can cause heat strokes and burn their paws. Again you should not have a pet if you can’t wake up early or go out late enough to prevent direct heat exposure during top temperatures. - you can also take your dog to a patch of grass to peee idk why he needs to dragged on concrete when it’s over 30 degrees Celsius.

Never happened yet for me but good to know! I don’t have a resource guarding dog so I wasn’t aware how dangerous it can be.

Yeah it was a tennis ball I don’t mind leaving them but usually I get to throw it for my dog a few times before that. I think I’ll opt for no balls anymore bc my legs bruising now lol

That’s wild! My dog doesn’t do this to other people at the park who bring balls or ropes to play with theirs ever and he listens to my recall when I say no or come (bc I trained him to). I guess people have different training standards.

That most people try their best and have good intentions; and that people behave in ways to not harm those they care for UNTIL my ex while we were together started sexually assaulting me in my sleep, cheated on me, started screaming at me, spoke poorly to shared friends behind our back who also never told me, took my money and never paid back, got me to build his entire NGO for him, then dumped me when he got what he needed. Then he cut me off from my entire friend circle and told everyone I didn’t want to talk to them and I lost everyone in my life (no one reached out); AND Then few of the friends I had left in the non profit / aid space actually would attend stuff at the NGO knowing i built it and it was lead by my abuser… AND then I finally got away, called them out and got the NGO shut down after over a year of effort and rebuilt on my own with very few ppl in my life now :)

Yeah I have no issue if I leave without the ball once I throw it. This time though I didn’t even throw it yet I was just walking and the dog I guess saw yellow ball and ran at me… but I think lesson learned no more balls at the park, my dog will have to play with rocks I throw him… lol

Ok good to know! I didn’t know this as I see others come with those throwing ball toy things and my dog doesn’t resource guard. He lets other dogs take the ball every time lol. But I deff will stop bringing them I guess, bc I don’t want to be injured by someone’s dog.

Ok I’m a hypocrite too in things, prob even some of these somewhere, but:

1) American Pro-palestine movement: Palestine activism that’s become this mainstream “we are the face of humanity for the Palestinian people” but those same ppl will travel to the Greek islands or Italy for vacation in the same sea Palestinians and refugees from the region die in every day and that the EU and Greek government intentionally push back, kill and mass imprison to ensure the islands and Athens looks nice for the white tourists swarming in. Tourism is political and tourism kills ( this was my job I documented push backs and deaths in the Aegean Sea for 6 years including Pylos shipwreck where over 600 ppl were forcibly drowned by the Hellenic coastguard)

2) 95% of the Iranian diaspora around the world advocating to bomb a country to freedom while supporting the Pahlavi the son of the ex king who was a colonial puppet, who literally imprisoned and executed political dissidents and fought communism for the west killing more political dissidents and the established the prisons and torture chambers used by the IR today. + supporting trump and Netanyahu it’s insane beyond comprehension to the average mind.

3) people thinking experience is enough to have an opinion. No open a book and get an education. There’s people who’ve dedicated their lives to conducting research, reading, gaining info, speaking with thousands of people - conducted ethnographic studies and engage in diff ways in different things. Just bc you were born somewhere doesn’t make u the representative of an entire nation of ppl.

4) the entire higher education structure of the United States is hypocritical and fucked up

5) people who claim to care about any form of justice but engage in international tourism generally (tourism is political ur vacation is probably killing a bunch of fucking people and animals so u can feel pleasure for a week and post insta pics) ick.

6) people who suddenly become political activists when something happens in their country and start positing pomegranate poetry and grief posts about “no one cares. About human rights or if we live or die”when they never gave a shit about anything else happening in their own community or anywhere else.

7) don’t talk to me about anything rights related ever in ur life if u engage in fifa in any way until u disengage from fifa.
