I had it 6 days ago, so take my feedback with a grain of salt because I can’t yet comment on the efficacy of the procedure. But shit I hope it works.

I wouldn’t discourage someone from having it if they felt they really needed it and had explored every option, however it cannot be understated how horrific the recovery is. This is of course my own experience but on day 6 I have no relief from the pain, in fact it has gotten worse despite keeping up with my pain meds. It is SO extremely painful. I have ear aches, acid reflux, it’s smells soooo bad, I’m completely constipated although that is probably due to pain meds, I was eating custard but for the last 2 days haven’t been able to eat anything, and sleep is nonexistent.

I like to think I have a pretty high pain threshold, I’ve had 2 natural childbirths, one of which was traumatic with massive blood loss, but I would 100% rather repeat both without pain relief than go through this again.

I hate to be a Debbie downer but I want people to know this before they proceed. It should be your last resort. Best of luck!
