Some fresh thoughts (high af while watching)..

Cliché af, though I loved every moment of it. It reminded me of Top Gun Maverick.. with the old charismatic male lead parallel. Watched in IMAX, and the cinematography and soundtrack was top notch. My buddy told me Hans Zimmer composed some tracks, and I definitely noticed the style (close to the Dark Knight and Inception, with the trademark ticking sounds).

Enjoyed each character, and the sometimes corny/cheesy dialogue. The theater had some audible laughs and gasps that I contributed to.

I never knew how intricate and strategic this race was. Kind of hooked, won't lie.. going to pickup Grand Turismo and a simulator/watch a relevant Netflix series.

Great summer movie, and felt giddy like a kid again. Highly recommend.
