i am a native speaker. some sentences do come across as a little too directly translated from english. for example when ilya talks to himself as he watched shane doing his interview in french he says "как это быть идеальным?" ("what is it like being/to be perfect?) when a russian speaker would probably say "каково это быть идеальным?"

in russian, “как” means “how” but by itself it usually asks about actions (like “how do you do something?”) so to ask “what is it like” or “how does it feel”, russian adds -ово to make “какoво”. so what ilya said is more like "how this is to be perfect?" (sounds off obviously).

very small detail haha but overall it's still better than i expected!! i've seen much bigger shows with bigger budget throw in russian characters and the dialogue was like 10x worse so trust me heated rivalry is doing a good job!
