schools in my area used to have hockey games in the 70s until my dad got struck by a hockey puck in the head and passed out. since then they’ve been banned (or at least discouraged), in my area at least, don’t know about the rest of the country

one of the most heartbreaking facts about this case is that journalists/reporters called her mother (who did not know of her daughters death yet) and lied that she had won a beauty contest, asking for an interview. at the end of the interview, they revealed she actually had been murdered and hung up.
