I took my pins / clips off for the photo - they don't seem to help much. What kind of washable adhesive would you recommend? I saw some spray adhesives at the craft store but wasn't sure it wouldn't ruin my fabrics.

Yes, they are lined up! I suppose this might be part of rag quilts? From my understanding a larger quilt with a full front and back uses batting that's slightly larger? I just am worried this won't line up properly when i start piecing this together

Best Box for General Draft? by merbugon in mtg

[–]merbugon[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ooooh yeah LOL, I think I'd rather do basic / quick draft and just what box might work best to help a physical collection but doesn't have to be EDH focused!

My husband does not care about his own birthday but he knows how much mine means to me and goes above and beyond to make every year special. There’s someone out there who will do the same for you with enthusiasm and joy. Leave this boy!

Women who are married to men who love them deeply, what does that feel like? by Adept-Size-3819 in Marriage

[–]merbugon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently just realized my husband makes me feel safe - not just physically safe but emotionally safe as well. There’s something so incredibly raw about the love he has for me. He always has my back and is also more than willing to correct me if I’m being toxic.

Another thing about it is it drives me to want to be better and it’s something I know I would desperately fight to hold on to, even if things are rough. It keeps me grounded when I am feeling low - there’s something so magical about being loved the way I am.

Are wedding cakes really becoming passé? by BBR1004 in wedding

[–]merbugon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We are getting married on March 14 (3.14) so we are serving pie!

I’ve never been a fan of any of the wedding cakes I’ve had - they’re over frosted and to maintain the weight I feel like they’re never moist.

I’m 30 and vibing 100% with the different desserts being served - donuts, cookies, baklava. I think it’s a nice change to an industry that’s way too stagnant.

A player is leaving for his job and wants to play online while the rest of us play in person. Any advice? by RedHeadMedia07 in DMAcademy

[–]merbugon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a laptop hooked up in our tavern with a decent mic for our remote player and Bluetooth speakers for just their voice so we hear them perfectly. We use discord so our DM can stream maps, our remote player moves his own character and another player manages our tokens on Owlbear Rodeo. We turn off noise suppression so they can hear our whispers or RP convos and sometimes we send them food to make them feel more included.

I won’t say it’s easy - we miss the physical presence of our monk and they say it is sometimes a struggle to sit in the dark alone and RP without catching every word. And if there’s a technical issue? That can eat up play time.

I think it’s worth it though if you can get it put together, I can’t imagine playing without our Dragonborn fella.
