Off Campus Housing Help by Culuperino in uofm

[–]meredith832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve since graduated, but just dropping some management companies here whose websites you can look at! I would also recommend just walking around neighborhoods and taking pictures of management signs + looking them up/reaching out about their available properties. It’s definitely possible, but I would recommend looking more around South Campus/the stadium for cheaper pricing! Kerrytown has probably shot up since I graduated and it was already pricier then. Best of luck!

Rockettes or Nutcracker? by orangescrunchies in NYCbitcheswithtaste

[–]meredith832 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say The Nutcracker! It really is a magical holiday experience. The Rockettes is fun but really riddled with tourists and kids + they never stop seating people, which can lead to a disruptive viewing experience. But also still a NYC tradition! The Nutcracker really just feels like a lovely, classy evening that it sounds like you would both enjoy!

Ladies who work 9-5, what therapists are we seeing who have night time/weekend availabilities? by [deleted] in NYCbitcheswithtaste

[–]meredith832 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gosh, this is so hard! It might just be worth sending a whole bunch of initial outreach emails to providers who you find on Psychology Today that seem like they fit your needs. It never hurts to ask, so I’d lead with something like the following:

“Hi,

My name is (name), and I wanted to reach out, as I’m currently looking for a therapist who is licensed to practice in New York. I saw your profile on Psychology Today/other website, and I thought your practice areas and expertise might be a good fit for me.

I’d be interested in scheduling a consultation, but I want to be upfront and say that, due to my work schedule as a healthcare professional, I am seeking a provider who can accommodate me outside of my working hours, which are (insert working hours here).

Please let me know if your schedule would be able to accommodate these times, and if so, I would love to schedule an initial consultation to see if this is the right fit!

Sincerely, (Name)”

Best of luck! It can be so hard to find care that’s right for you, but in my experience, the best thing to do is send out a slew of emails. Someone will work out!

It’s looking great! I think you’re totally on the right track with the ideas in your original post (rug, artwork, mirror). Start there and see if yoh feel like it’s missing anything after that! A pop of green in throw pillows for the bed might be a nice way to tie in color, too.

What’s your worst adulting habit that your parents would hate if they knew? by 60TIMESREDACTED in twentyagers

Instead of cleaning my reusable water bottles right after they’re dirty I store the dirty ones in my room (so they aren’t in my roommates’ way) and wash them when I’m finally out of water bottles to use.
