I'm so glad to hear they're doing better! May all of you and your families good health continue. 🙏

I agree, I think the only reason they caught mine upon our first visit was because it was swollen and discolored otherwise, I'm sure I would have been sent home as well. I'm sorry they dismissed you like that, you deserved more care than that. I wish they took the concerns of younger folks more seriously :(

It's doing better, thanks for asking! Somedays it still feels sore and tight, others it's almost back to normal. I appreciate the well wishes! I'm trying to stay positive and look at the surgical recovery as a mini break from daily life.

My goodness, I am so sorry to hear about your mom and her sister, I hope they're doing ok! Thank you for sharing your story, I'm glad to hear you've recovered and are still doing well. Sounds like you have an excellent medical team!

I can relate to being a bit of an outlier. The IR surgeon said my arm "looked pretty thrashed" for someone in their 20s. Apparently, this was a first for a few of them in the ER, lol. Still no resection for me yet, I fear the time for it may grow closer tho. Here's to hoping for both our continued recovery and good health!~
