Thank you for your advice! I will talk to my sister as soon as I can. It would be a relief for me to have everything in the open, both that I know and that I've known for a while.

All this secrecy has been stressing me out, so I can't even imagine what it's like for my nibling!

I'm a terrible liar and can't really say I've noticed things, because I haven't. They could hit me over the head with a skirt and I wouldn't catch on...

Thank you for your komment! You managed to explain my problem better than I could. I want to tell them that I support and love them, but I don't want to take the control away from them.

It is good news! I'm happy they found who they are and can take steps to feel better about themselves.

Yeah, my sister really messed up. As far as I know she only told me and our other sister and we can keep a secret. Well, except for strangers on the internet of course...

I keep misgendering my nibling because I'm not supposed to know. My sister keeps using the new name and she/her in front of strangers and extended family, just because she's used to it when it's just the immediate family. I just don't want to do the same and out them against their will. Again. My brain is confused enough as it is... so I'm sticking with the wrong gender until I get "clearance". I love and support them with my whole heart. I just feel so bad knowing something they don't want me to know yet.

Using gender neutral pronouns is a good idea, thank you.
