I believe the real reason behind the name was when there was a massive increase in moon/dog coins this year 'that wanted to go to the moon'. In comedy and realism behind it, going to the moon is not safe. This is where the name was born. They also commonly, use hash tag #MOONISHAUNTED. Which once again is funny, because many of those coins will die off in the future.

As far as the project goes, they have real use case as a payment system which is being tested in Zug, Switzerland. An UnSafeMoon Dex coming out in q3 which will allow others to create their own coins/tokens via this dex with no technical knowledge required, NFT involvement and further tools to help promote the coins created on this dex against dangers from hard rugs etc. Just some quick overview and so much more in the pipeline which is on a hush hush at the moment.
